Offer Your Thanksgiving

14 Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving, and perform your vows to the Most High, 15and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me. ~ Psalms 50:14–15

God has called us to be thankful, and if He has called us to be thankful, He expects us to be thankful. Not when we feel like it. Not when we want to. Not even only when we receive something or when everything is going the way it should.

We are to be continually thankful all of the time and in all things. We don’t necessarily have to be thankful for the situation during the situation. But we have to be thankful in the situation regardless of how bad it is because when we offer this sacrifice of thanksgiving and then call upon His name, God will rescue us. He will deliver you.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Offer Your Thanksgiving.

To Be Thankful

24 This is the day which the Lord hath made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. ~ Psalms 118:24KJV

The Scriptures tell us that this is the day that the LORD has made. Today. Right now. The present. It is called the present because it is a gift from our heavenly Father. Therefore, I will rejoice, and I will be glad in it.

Rejoicing then is a choice. Being glad is a choice. It is not something that just happens only when everything is going good. Or when all of our bills are paid, and everything is as it should be.

NO! Rejoicing is a choice. That’s why the Psalmist wrote, “I will rejoice and be glad in it.” You can choose to be glum or sulky. You can choose to be angry. Or you can choose to be thankful. Today, we choose to be thankful.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Choose to Be Thankful.

Decide in the Valley of Decision

5 Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. ~ Psalms 30:5

There will be joy for the people of the LORD. Joy for those who are waiting for the return of Jesus. Peace, peace, peace I proclaim, may the shalom peace of God rest upon His people and strengthen them to endure the night, for joy cometh in the morning.

You are in the valley of decision. Have you decided? You are at the crossroads. Have you decided which way you will turn and to whom you will serve? Have you decided to choose life and refuse death?

Jesus is waiting. He offers hope. He offers life. He is waiting patiently, watching for the return of His prodigal son—the return of His prodigal daughter.

Have you had enough of riotous living? Have you had enough of playing Russian Roulette? Jesus’ arms are open wide, waiting for His sons and His daughters to come home. Will you come home? All you have to do is ask, and He will give you life. Life everlasting with Him.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Decide in the Valley of Decision.

Blow The Trumpet

14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision. 15 The sun and the moon shall be darkened, And the stars shall withdraw their shining. 16 The Lord also shall roar out of Zion, And utter His voice from Jerusalem; And the heavens and the earth shall shake: But the Lord will be the hope of His people, And the strength of the children of Israel. ~ Joel 3:14–16

Watchman, sound the alarm. Watchman, blow the trumpet and warn the people. For the day of the LORD is near, even at the door. For many, it will be a day of darkness and fear. A day of terror and dread. A day of distress and misery. No ungodly will escape. No amount of money will buy a pardon. No amount of silver or gold will purchase amnesty for those who have sinned against our God.

For those who have needlessly and willingly shed innocent blood, those who show no mercy, no mercy will be shown to them. For the innocent blood cries out to God for justice. There is a dreadful day of reckoning awaiting those who imprison the innocent and set the guilty free. For those who call evil good and good evil. For those who curse the name of our God and the name of His Son. Against such will His anger flare, and against such will His indignation be poured out.

That day is near. The time has come. The valley of decision is upon you. Decide this day whom you will serve. Decide this day which you will choose, life or death. This is your last opportunity to choose life and live. For our God has promised hope to His people. A day of salvation, peace, and restoration. A bright day. A day of rejoicing and reunion with loved ones who have gone on before us.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Blow The Trumpet.

Defend His Grace

3 Dear friends, I had been eagerly planning to write to you about the salvation we all share. But now I find that I must write about something else, urging you to defend the faith that God has entrusted once for all time to His holy people. 4 I say this because some ungodly people have wormed their way into your churches, saying that God’s marvelous grace allows us to live immoral lives. The condemnation of such people was recorded long ago, for they have denied our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ. ~ Jude 1:3-4NLT

From the time of Jude to now, nothing has changed. The Church has been infiltrated by those who lead us astray due to our lack of knowledge of the Scripture. The Church, all of us, can no longer quote Scripture in defense of our beliefs as the First Church could. They studied Scripture. The Bereans even fact-checked Paul, the greatest apostle who ever lived, but us today, we accept the watered-down Gospel because we truly don’t know any better.

If we could grasp the love of God and how His grace truly works, then we wouldn’t use His love as an excuse for us and others to sin. We’d understand that there is a need for a healthy amount of fear, just as a child should have a healthy fear of their parents. God doesn’t just give us free passes for sin because of grace. He took our sin upon Himself so that He could pay our debt and we could be forgiven. Don’t abuse grace, and don’t allow others to believe they can abuse grace, either.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Defend His Grace.

Pay Attention

17 I set watchmen over you, saying, ‘Pay attention to the sound of the trumpet!’ But they said, ‘We will not pay attention.’ ~ Jeremiah 6:17

Those who will not pay attention will meet a dreadful end. The trumpet has sounded. The clarion call is announced. Repent and believe. Jesus is coming back real soon. We must keep watching and praying. We must have our house in order that when Jesus comes back, He will find us doing what we are supposed to be doing.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Pay Attention.

Prepare Yourself For Winter

20 Pray that your flight may not be in winter or on a Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be. ~ Matthew 24:20–21

A time of night is decreed for us. It’s coming soon with a vengeance. Jesus isn’t talking to the world here. He’s talking to His followers. He said a time of night is coming that He described as “The Great Tribulation.” A time of persecution, death, and unrest for all the people of God. Not just a select part of the world.

God said that we are the watchmen on the wall. Us Christians. We are to announce what time of the day or what time of the night it is. We should discern the times and advise what to do. The thing to do now is to draw close to our God, pay attention, and pray. Make sure our loved ones, and ourselves, are ready to meet their God. Make sure our loved ones, and ourselves, are prepared for any tribulation to come. We have to make sure that no matter what comes our way, we won’t denounce the name of Christ. We have to prepare to make a stand regardless of what may be at stake. We have to choose to stand for Christ.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Prepare Yourself For Winter.

Pay Attention To The Times

The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers. ~ 1 Peter 4:7

We must be vigilant. We are to keep our eyes open. We are commanded to watch and pray for the end of all things is at hand. We are living in a time of darkness. Christianity, Christians, and Jesus are under attack. Our beliefs are rendered antiquated and politically incorrect at best. If you notice, Christianity is the only religion whose beliefs and practices are belittled and whose deity is blasphemed daily.

It is a time of darkness with the whole world battling an unseen elusive enemy. Shutdowns and shut-ups. Shortages and scarcities. Lack and needs are going unfulfilled. Panic everywhere. We have to wake up. We can’t stay asleep any longer, the night is coming to an end, and the Son will soon break the Eastern sky to carry His bride away. When He comes, we can’t be asleep with the rest of the world, numb to the trials and tribulations surrounding His people. He’s coming soon; watchman, do you know what time of night it is?

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Pay Attention To The Times.

Discern the Times

40 He answered, “I tell you, if these were silent, the very stones would cry out.” ~ Luke 19:40

If we hold our tongue, the silence itself will cry out to God through the watchman. “Watchman, what time of the night?” Then he repeats himself. “Watchman, what time of the night?” This gives some insight as to the direness of the situation. There seems to be a certain level of anxiety and apprehension on the side of the asker.

Today we are living in a time of trepidation—a time of perplexity. Fear is weaponized, and the people cower from it. Panic is on every side. One word, whether it is real or not real, sends the population into a frenzy.

We, the Church, have to be able to discern the times. We have to be able to lead others into the peace of God. There is no time for distraction, there is a war for our souls, and we have to awaken the dry bones. We have to prophesy the Word of the LORD, for He is coming very soon.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Discern the Times.

Be A Friend of God

You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. ~ James 4:4

If we are so busy making the world our friend, we lose the time we should spend in friendship with our true friend, Jesus Christ. The friend who sticks closer than a brother. But Christians tend to let political correctness prevent them from making a stand. They chose to be quiet about things that ensure life and the things that cause death.

The world is not concerned about your soul. The world is not concerned with where you will spend eternity. The world is not concerned with whether or not you are prepared to meet your maker. They march to the beat of a different drum. So, no matter how hard you try, you will never be in step with the world as long as you are a Christian. It is a completely different rhythm, as different as a 3/4 beat is from a 4/4 beat. The two will never be in harmony.

So, judge for yourself, consider which is more profitable, to be a friend of the world or to be a friend of God.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Be A Friend of God.
