Never Stop Praying

“The Lord is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble? When evil people come to devour me, when my enemies and foes attack me, they will stumble and fall. Though a mighty army surrounds me, my heart will not be afraid. Even if I am attacked, I will remain confident.” ~ Psalms 27:1-3 NLT

Our enemy isn’t always a physical person, but we always have an enemy. Someone trying to take us down. Someone trying to destroy us. Right now our enemy is COVID-19. Now I know that sounds silly. How can a virus be our enemy? It can’t think. It can’t speak. It isn’t just going after Christians. But it’s our enemy because it is against us. The virus itself may not have a consciousness, but the evil one who created it and all evil things, is our enemy. He is trying to destroy not only Christians, but all of humanity.

Revelation 12 says Beware Earth and the Sea because the Devil has come down here and he knows he is running out of time. So he is not a toothless lion with no power, neither is this virus a joke. Last us stand together as brothers and sisters in Christ and pray against other enemy, COVID-19. That this virus would cease and never return. That all infected by this virus will be healed in the NAME of Jesus. That the spread of COVID-19 will come to a screeching halt and health, sanity, peace, and love would fill the Earth.

So don’t be afraid. Don’t allow your hearts to be troubled. Because our God is our fortress. He will protect us when we run to Him. He will save us from any calamity or distress, if we just ask. And when this virus is destroyed, pray against the next enemy that comes, always believing that God can and will overcome anything for us, if we ask.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Never Stop Praying.

Reap In Joy

“Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy.” ~ Psalm 126:5

Whether tears of mourning, stress, fear, panic it doesn’t matter, those tears will be turned into joy. God doesn’t make a promise and not fulfill it. Every tear you’ve cried He has caught and planted so that at the perfect time, joy will sprout inside of you. Joy that the world can’t take away, nor can it understand. Trust in God and He will take your pain from you.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Reap In Joy.

Take Part In The Children’s Bread

19 Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and He delivered them from their distress. 20 He sent out His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction. 21 Let them thank the Lord for His steadfast love, for His wondrous works to the children of man! 22 And let them offer sacrifices of thanksgiving, and tell of His deeds in songs of joy!” ~ Psalms 107:19-22

It sounds cliché, but God can heal any disease and any sickness and any virus. The Psalmist wrote that when the people cried out to the LORD, He delivered them because He loved them. So rejoice because His love has not run out. His love is infinite, and we are drenched in His never-ending love. As a father never stops loving his child, neither does our Heavenly Father stop loving us.

Peter takes this a step further by saying that we are already healed. We may not feel healed at the moment, but all we have to do is declare, accept, and believe our healing. That may sound crazy, but that’s exactly what our God promised us. Healing. We are the Children of God given authority over every sickness, disease, and virus. It’s time we start acting like it. It’s time we start moving in faith. God didn’t give us healing, just to take it away. He is the same God yesterday, today, and forever.

Healing is the Children’s Bread, and we ARE His Children. So don’t be afraid, discouraged, overwhelmed, or any other negative emotion because of this scare. You are a Child of God. Hold tight to your faith because it is your faith that will heal you.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Take Part In The Children’s Bread.

Wait For The LORD

13 I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living! 14 Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!” ~ Psalms 27:13-14

Chaos may be upon the Earth right now, but wait upon the LORD and believe that you will see the goodness of the LORD. Fear will try to tell you that God has forgotten you. Fear will try to tell you to panic. It will try to overcome you in every bit of your life, but God is that still whisper in the storm saying “I am God. Peace, be still.” Listen for that whisper and believe in the love God has for you.

During this time of panic, don’t allow fear to control you. God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power and self-control. He has given you His peace. Pray and wait upon Him. When you do, you will see His miracles.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Wait For The LORD.

Praise The Everlasting God

For God is the King of all the earth; sing praises with a psalm! God reigns over the nations;God sits on His holy throne.” ~ Psalms 47:7-8

God does not change. God still reigns over the nations. He is still seated on His throne. And He is still in control. No matter the chaos that is surrounding you right now. No matter the panic that is overwhelming the world, God is still in control. There is nothing too great or too hard for God. Mountains melt in His presence. He speaks and it is. There is nothing that He cannot do. So let your hearts be glad. Let your spirit have peace. Praise the Everlasting God for He has not forsaken us. He has not abandoned us. He has already given us the authority, it’s about time we use it! So praise Him, for before there was an illness God had the healing.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Praise The Everlasting God!

Open Your Gift

“Then you will prosper if you are careful to observe the statutes and the rules that the Lord commanded Moses for Israel. Be strong and courageous. Fear not; do not be dismayed.” ~ 1 Chronicles 22:13

How often do we pray for prosperity and nothing happens? How long do we pray for healing, and nothing happens? How long do we pray for a job promotion or even a job, and nothing happens? And so, we begin to doubt the sovereignty of God, but in reality, God has already given these things to us. He already gave us prosperity, that job, that promotion, that healing; all we have to do is unlock it. All we have to do is two things. Observe the statutes & the rules and ask. That’s it if we do that without any doubt, our world will change.

But what if I’m already obeying all the rules and asking, but it’s not happening? I guarantee there is a stronghold in your life causing you not to receive, whether it’s an idol you never acknowledged as so, whether it’s a grudge you never let go, whether it’s pouring faith in false teachings instead of God, false judgment, whether it’s an addiction (it doesn’t have to be drugs it could be something as simple as coffee, TV, video games, even music). When you have something in your life that takes precedence over God, it can cause you to lose out on the prosperity He has already given you.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Open Your Gift of Prosperity.

Be Held In The Chaos

10 In His hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of all mankind.” ~ Job 12:10

God has all of us in His hands. Even those who do not believe. During this time of chaos and uncertainty, we can be certain that our God has not forgotten us. He hasn’t left us. He is still on His throne. And He is holding each and every one of us in His powerful hands. Don’t be afraid, nor let your heart be discouraged; you are loved by God. And He takes care of all that He loves.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Be Held In The Chaos.

Use The Name of Jesus

Seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked to receive alms. And Peter directed his gaze at him, as did John, and said, ‘Look at us.’ And he fixed his attention on them, expecting to receive something from them. But Peter said, ‘I have no silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!’ 16 And His name—by faith in His name—has made this man strong whom you see and know, and the faith that is through Jesus has given the man this perfect health in the presence of you all.’” ~ Acts 3:3-6; 16

They stopped and looked at him. Why? Because they were looking for faith. They were looking to see if the man had faith or doubt. The man came expecting a miracle. Look at verse 5. He looked at them expecting a miracle.

Do we expect to see every time we pray? Or have our prayers just become routine to make us feel like we did something? All Peter said was” in Jesus name get up and walk,” He didn’t say some long drawn out prayer filled with big words and few tears. He said 8 words and the man was healed.

What does that matter? They understood the power of the Name of Jesus. They knew that when they spoke in Jesus’ name, it would come to pass. Their faith was strong. They knew their God. They knew His power. They knew His authority. They knew Him. How much time do we spend with God? Not just making requests, but actual communion with Him? faith comes by heaving. And hearing by the Word of God. Why? Because you get to know Him. If you know Him, your faith will be boosted, It only takes the faith of a mustard seed to move mountain. It only takes a small amount of faith to move mountains, yet we don’t even have enough faith to heal a headache.

Jesus is calling us out onto the water, but our lack of faith is sinking us. Jesus is the name above all names. He is the name that saves. That heals. That delivers, yet we don’t use it nor have faith in it like we should. Jesus said we would do greater things than He did. keep in mind He raised the dead. So where are these miracles? Once we have the faith we need, we will see the miracles take place.

Peace. Love. Go forth and Use The Name of Jesus.

What Kind of Life Are You Living?

“So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.” ~ Romans 14:12

The Apostle Paul, speaking on behalf of the Creator and Judge, basically said, “It doesn’t matter whether you believe or don’t believe. It doesn’t matter whether you’re ready or not ready. It doesn’t matter whether you want to or don’t want to, you will stand before Almighty God and give an account of the things you did and didn’t do.”

So, if that is the case, and we know that is the case, what kind of lives should we be living? We should be living the kind of lives that are pleasing and acceptable to the LORD. The writer of the book of Hebrews concurred when he wrote “…it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment.” (Heb 9:27)

So, make no mistake, we will all stand before the judgement seat of Christ. Therefore, we ought to live lives that are worthy to be called Christians. And not selfish, or wicked lives. Do not let the deceiver fool you into apathy, beguile you into breaking one of God’s commandments or laws. But rather, in all things, let love guide your decisions, and let the knowledge of God choose your side.

Father, give us the spirit of discernment that our eyes may be opened to schemes and tricks of the evil one. Help us to make decisions not based on secular information, biases, or desires, but rather on Your written word, which is The Truth, in Jesus’ Name, I pray, amen.

Cover Your Children

When these celebrations ended—sometimes after several days—Job would purify his children. He would get up early in the morning and offer a burnt offering for each of them. For Job said to himself, ‘Perhaps my children have sinned and have cursed God in their hearts.’ This was Job’s regular practice.” ~ Job 1:5NLT

Job’s children were grown. They moved out. They had their own homes and families. Yet Job prayed for them and covered them, just in case they sinned. He never let go of his children. He never said, “They’re grown. They have their own life.” He prayed for them. And when they died, he didn’t feel hopelessness because he had faith that his prayers were making a difference in his children’s lives.

How often do you cover your children? How often do you pray for them? For their salvation? For God’s mercy on them? Every morning we should cover our loved ones with prayers. Especially our children. When we pray, things happen.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Cover Your Children.
