Cry Out To Jesus

37 As he was drawing near—already on the way down the Mount of Olives—the whole multitude of his disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen, 38 saying, “Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!” 39 And some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples.” 40 He answered, “I tell you, if these were silent, the very stones would cry out.” ~ Luke 19:37–40

The Scripture says, ‘as Jesus was drawing near.’ I believe He is drawing near again. This time it’s for keeps. Jesus said that He was coming back to get us. And we would know His return is near when we see the things happening that we see are happening now. We will know that His return is near, even at the door.

No one is saying the day nor the hour. All I’m saying is, it is at the door. All you have to do is open up your eyes and see. Let him who has ears to hear, hear and let him who has eyes to see, see. Jesus’ return is drawing near.

We’ve had 2,000 years to proclaim His word, to win soul, to make disciples. This is the last dance, per se. It is the 11th hour, and the minutes are quickly rushing to strike 12.

Make no mistake, Jesus is coming back soon.

And the nearer He return is, the more they will try to shut us up. Just like the Pharisees were trying to get Jesus to hush up His disciples, the elite is trying to shut us up. But if we are quiet, the stones will cry out. And we don’t want any stone crying out in our place.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Cry Out To Jesus.

Trust In Jesus

12 Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. ~ Revelation 22:12–13NIV

He said that His reward is with Him, and He will give to each person according to what they have done. So, whether good or bad, there will be a reward for you according to your deeds. If you want a good reward, do good things. If you don’t really give a care, continue in your rebellious ways without Jesus.

It is a war they cannot win. Jesus will never be defeated. He will never be overcome. He is the Alpha, and He is the Omega. He is the first, and He is the last. He is the beginning, and He is the end.

Nothing or no one will be able to stand against Him and the power of His word. Just by the blast of His breath, He slays the wicked. Don’t get caught on the wrong side. Because no matter what comes our way, Jesus’ reward will far outweigh the hardships. Nothing compares to it. Nothing compares to Jesus.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Trust In Jesus.

Seek More

5 Jesus answered, ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.’ ~ John 3:5-6

We often hear the phrase, ‘I’m not a spiritual person.’ This phrase has become especially popular in the Church. We’re no longer spiritual people. Why? I think it stems from fear. The fear of the unknown. The fear of seeming weird or abnormal. The fear of rejection from others. But why? Why do we feel this way?

Jesus told us that we must be born of the Spirit in order to enter the kingdom of God. Therefore, if the Devil can keep us separated from God, then we will become lukewarm and spiritually die. Ever wonder why we no longer hear of miracles or see healings take place? Could it be that we’ve distanced ourselves from God? From His Spirit? The World has become more ‘spiritual’ than the Church. They seek out Mediums, spells, witchcraft, etc., to satisfy the hunger they have inside of them for more.

When the Church is spiritually on fire again, like the Acts chapter 2 Church, then we will see a revival happen. Don’t allow your fear to keep you from spiritually growing. Press in and grow closer to God than never before, and He will do the same. What we put into our relationship with God is what He will put into His relationship with us. Pray and seek a spiritual revival that we might see the wonder and glory of God in our day and age.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Seek More.

Live Redeemed

28 Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise. 29 But just as at that time he who was born according to the flesh persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, so also it is now. 30 But what does the Scripture say? “Cast out the slave woman and her son, for the son of the slave woman shall not inherit with the son of the free woman.” 31 So, brothers, we are not children of the slave but of the free woman. ~ Galatians 4:28-31

We were once slaves to sin. We were once slaves to fear. We were once slaves in general, but now we are sons and daughters of God. We are now fellow heirs with Christ Jesus. We have displaced our mistress as we have become overcomers of the world. We are now free from our past mistress, the world, no longer having to bow down to sin.

In the name of Jesus, we are freed from all sin because He bore our sin on His shoulders. He bore our punishment on His back. He bore and finished it all on the cross. We are free in Jesus’ name.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Live Redeemed.

Know Why He Is Good

17 And as He was setting out on His journey, a man ran up and knelt before Him and asked Him, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” 18 And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.” ~ Mark 10:17-18

Jesus asked the rich young ruler a bold question, why do you call me good? Jesus wasn’t saying; I’m not good. He was giving the rich young ruler to make a distinction between Him and mankind. Today, Jesus still asks us this question. He’s still knocking at the door of our hearts. He’s still giving us the opportunity today to proclaim who He is.

Jesus is our LORD, our God, our Savior, and our friend. He is our everything. He is the Good Shepherd that lays down His life for His sheep. The Good Shepherd that gives life and life more abundant. He is the living water, the bread of life. He is the Alpha and the Omega. The beginning and the end. The First and the Last. Jesus is the giver of life. He took our place on the cross and gave us the free gift of Eternal Life to anyone who will believe. This is why He is good.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Know Why He Is Good.

Shoot For The Moon

48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect. ~ Matthew 5:48

According to Jesus, we are to be perfect as our Heavenly Father is perfect. But how can we humans who are flawed be perfect? Christ loved us enough that He gave Himself up for us so that we could be Holy. Then He washed us with living water through the word of God so that we could be without stain or blemish, but instead Holy and blameless.

Paul then instructs us to be not conformed to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of our minds. How do we do that? We meditate on Scripture, and we take captive every thought that is unclean. We change the way we think through Scripture and through prayer.

So, in order to be transformed by the renewing of your mind, you have to read the Word of God, and we have to hear the Word of God being preached. Because it is by faith, we have been saved, and faith comes through hearing and hearing through the Word of God.

We place on the full Armor of God as well as pray in the Spirit for ourselves and others so that we will be able to overcome temptation when it comes because God promises that we will never face temptation too strong to overcome.

You may not always make the right decisions, and temptation may overcome you from time to time, but don’t settle for less than perfect. Aim for perfection. Norman Vincent Peale said it this way, “Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.” It may seem impossible to live without sin, but with God, everything is possible.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Shoot For The Moon.

Dwell As Lizards

28 the lizard you can take in your hands, yet it is in kings’ palaces. ~ Proverbs 30:28

We’re lower than the heavenly beings. We can easily be destroyed and overpowered. We’re lower than everything except for the animals, yet the God of the Universe got off of His throne to rescue us from our sin so we could be with Him forever.

Though we’re small. Though we’re tiny. We’re below the angels. We’re below the supernatural realm, yet God Almighty looked down and saw something in us worth saving. He came and He died for and gave us the opportunity to dwell with Him. We don’t have to, it’s not forced upon us, but He says,

20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.

Revelation 3:20

Jesus gives us the opportunity to dwell with Him in His palace. In His temple for all eternity. We will dwell in God and with God forever and ever, even though we are only dust, God has made a way for us to dwell in and with Him forever and ever.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Dwell As Lizards.

March As Locusts

27 the locusts have no king, yet all of them march in rank; ~ Proverbs 30:27

Though the locusts have no king, they still do exactly what they need to do. King Solomon ranked this as the third example of wisdom. We, the Church, need to act as locusts. Jesus is the King of kings, but yet He is not physically here leading us. Because Jesus isn’t physically here leading us, it’s as if we don’t have a king. Sometimes it can feel lonesome. Sometimes it can be difficult to do good because you can’t see your king.

But even though our king isn’t physically here on earth leading us, we are not alone. He is with us spiritually, and the Holy Spirit lives within us. We are not alone. We can still keep going. Jesus said, ‘Blessed are those who have not seen and still believe.’ He was speaking about us. We haven’t seen Jesus, yet He is guiding us spiritually that we might believe and be saved.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and March As Locusts.

Build As A Rock Badger

26 the rock badgers are a people not mighty, yet they make their homes in the cliffs; ~ Proverbs 30:26

Solomon attributed the rock badgers home building skills as the reason they are wise. We are no different. Jesus said the wise man builds his house upon the rock. Jesus is the rock. Therefore, those who build their house on Jesus are wise.

Because that sturdy foundation cannot be moved, they will stand firm in trials and tribulation. They will rely on Jesus, and they will not be moved, but those that refuse to build on Jesus, He will become a stumbling stone for them. He will be offensive to them. Jesus will either be the rock that makes you or the rock that breaks you.

Building your life on Jesus is easy. All you have to do is accept His free gift of freedom by repenting for your sins and asking Him to be LORD of your life. Jesus already did the heavy lifting; all you have to do is believe.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Build As A Rock Badger.

Gather Like The Ants

24 Four things on earth are small, but they are exceedingly wise: 25 the ants are a people not strong, yet they provide their food in the summer; ~ Proverbs 30:24

Solomon wasn’t talking about physical food; he was talking about spiritual food. Our spiritual food is a little complicated. First, it is the Word of God. The Word of God is the literal word that God speaks, but it is also Jesus. Jesus is the bread of life. So, dwelling in the literal Word of God, The Bible, as well as spending time with Jesus, is the beginning of gaining wisdom.

See, the ants don’t wait until the winter is here to gather their food. What am I talking about? They don’t wait for temptation, tribulation, hardships, pain, suffering, grief, or tragedy to come. They prepare their food; they store it up from summer. They store up the Word of God inside of them so that when trials come, they have food. They won’t grow hungry and starve. They won’t be choked out by the weeds that grow up next to them. They’ll overcome and receive that crown of life.

On that Great and Glorious Day, when we all stand before the throne of God, those that take heed from the ants will be the ones to hear the words, ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. Enter in.’ All you have to do is accept Jesus’ free gift of Salvation and then follow Him.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Gather Like The Ants.
