The Promise of Eternity

13 Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. 14 For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few. ~ Matthew 7:13-14

The reality of eternal punishment often is a miss on us. We can’t fully comprehend how God could allow this to happen, but the Truth is that we choose to go to Hell. We choose to enter through the wide gate. Our eternal dwelling place is strictly left to one person to decide, and that’s us. Each of us will decide where we each spend eternity.

There are only two eternal promises in which one will spend eternity.

One: A place of blissfulness

A place of peace and joy
A place where all your needs will be abundantly supplied
Never to worry or be concerned again
Never to be mistreated or misused
Never to fear or be disrespected ever again

Two: A place of eternal torment

A place of anguish and discomfort
A place without the love of GodForever thirsty
Forever hungry
Forever fear and agony in a perpetual darkness

Chose wisely this day whom you will serve, for the day of the LORD is near and His rewards are with Him.

Love to Conquer

11 And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death. ~ Revelation 12:11

We are more than conquerors through the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. The love for our LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ, is the foundation of our overcoming. We cannot use the blood of the Lamb in spiritual warfare without first loving Jesus.

Therefore, without the love for Jesus, we will not have a testimony. So, our greatest weapon is love for our God because when we love Him, we love what He loves, and He loves people. If we love God, we will seek His Kingdom above all things. If we love God, we won’t chase this old world; we’ll chase Him. Therefore, the love for our God is the foundation to conquer this world and its ruler.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Love to Conquer.

Leave The Spiritual Pigs

11 And he said, “There was a man who had two sons. 12 And the younger of them said to his father, ‘Father, give me the share of property that is coming to me.’ And he divided his property between them. 13 Not many days later, the younger son gathered all he had and took a journey into a far country, and there he squandered his property in reckless living. 14 And when he had spent everything, a severe famine arose in that country, and he began to be in need. 15 So he went and hired himself out to one of the citizens of that country, who sent him into his fields to feed pigs. 16 And he was longing to be fed with the pods that the pigs ate, and no one gave him anything. ~ Luke 15:11-16

The youngest son took his inheritance and left his father’s house. This is the majority of us today. We accept the generational blessings that come from our ancestors, the spiritual gifts, and the natural talent God has given us, and then we leave His presence. So many of us want the blessings of God, we want the Kingdom of Heaven, but we want it while living in the world. This is the desire of the youngest son. He wants his father’s wealth but doesn’t want to dwell with his father.

So, the son leaves with the generational blessings, the spiritual gifts, and the natural talent and goes off living in the world. But all that the father gave to his son isn’t enough for his reckless living in the world. So many of us take out our inheritance, and we’re successful, we’re influential, and we’re happy, but we’re not joyful. Happiness is relative. It’s dependent on our situation, other people’s reactions and words, the news, etc. But joy is dependent on God, and He does not change.

Many of us are successful in the world, but spiritually we’re sleeping with the pigs. Spiritually we’re broke and broken. We’re struggling with emptiness, brokenness, and depression. We’re struggling with self-doubt, loneliness, anger, and stress. These things can only be filled, fixed, and restored by and with God. Our inheritance without God can only last so long. It can only do so much. God gives us out of the abundance He has, but He can only give out of His abundance if you’re with Him.

The world brings us emptiness and depression, but God brings us a cup that runs over. Those who drink never thirst again. Those who eat never hunger again. Those who come to Him are satisfied, restored, and overflowing with more than we could ever imagine.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Leave The Spiritual Pigs.

Our Time Is Short

12 Therefore, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short! ~ Revelation 12:12

If we, who are Christians, have loved ones, say our children, who are not serving Jesus, or have not accepted Him as LORD and Savior, then we should be down on our knees day and night with tears and pleas of mercy for them.

It is not God’s will for any to perish. He wants everyone saved, yet many will not be saved because they refuse to believe. They refuse to give up and repent of their sins. Because men love the darkness more than they love the light, this is what’s holding back our loved ones from getting saved.

One of the biggest problems is that they are being educated under the secular educational system, which programs them to believe that there is no God, and even if there were a God, there is no need for God. And this is a worldwide problem. We are living in the last days, so heed the warning God gives us in the book of Revelation. The Devil has come down to the earth in great wrath because he knows he only has a short amount of time left.

If more than a thousand years is a short amount of time for Satan, how much more is the few years we have on this earth to pray for and disciple our loved ones? Pray and fast for your loved ones that the LORD would have mercy on them and soften their hearts towards Him so that they might be saved. Don’t remain idle while they remain on a path that leads to eternal damnation. Stand in the gap for them. Pray for them. Seek the LORD on their behalf. Don’t waste the short time that we have on this earth.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Use Our Short Time.

Be Prepared Regardless of the Season

10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil. ~ 2 Corinthians 5:10

We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ Jesus. It’s not according to who you are. Or what you have done. It’s not according to the high position you held in this life. It’s not according to who you think you are. It’s not even according to if you believe or not. It’s this: “We must all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.” There we will all be judged according to what we have done according to what is written in the books.

If we have hidden secrets like hate in our hearts or unforgiveness, and believe me, it will show, then the LORD, who is the judge of all the earth, will know. The Spirit of Slumber is ravaging through our world and Church taking many as its victim. Jesus is coming soon. The closer we come to that day, the more aggressive the Spirit of Slumber becomes, but don’t succumb to its attacks. Be prepared in season and out of season so that when the Son of Man, that is, Jesus, returns, He will find you doing what it is He called you to do. Then you will receive a great reward.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Be Prepared Regardless of the Season.

Hold To His Guarantee

For while we are still in this tent, we groan, being burdened—not that we would be unclothed, but that we would be further clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who has given us the Spirit as a guarantee. ~ 2 Corinthians 5:4-5

Too many Christians are walking around offended, instead of groaning, being burdened with the sins and iniquities of this generation. This world is not our home for which we have to fight for and defend. We’re only passing through.

Our home is an eternal one. One that God Himself will dwell with us in. Jesus will sit on the throne, and He will tabernacle us, and we with Him.

This promise wasn’t an empty promise. We have been given the Holy Spirit as a guarantee, and anything that the LORD guarantees will certainly come to pass. This is our great hope.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Hold To His Guarantee.

Remember His Eternal Promise

And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.” ~ Revelation 21:3

God promised us that His dwelling place is with man. What a great and mighty promise from our God. For what is man that God Himself should want to tabernacle, or dwell with us? We have the Holy Spirit dwelling in us right now, but one day, when Jesus comes back, He Himself will physically dwell with mankind. We will be able to see Him, talk with Him, and walk with Him. He will be our God; we will be His people. This is the promise for His people. This is our great hope.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Remember His Eternal Promise.

Call For Fire

33 And he put the wood in order and cut the bull in pieces and laid it on the wood. And he said, “Fill four jars with water and pour it on the burnt offering and on the wood.” 34 And he said, “Do it a second time.” And they did it a second time. And he said, “Do it a third time.” And they did it a third time. 35 And the water ran around the altar and filled the trench also with water. ~ 1 Kings 18:33-35

The sacrifice Elijah offered was soaking wet. The trench surrounding the altar was filled with water, yet God was still able to burn up Elijah’s sacrifice when he called on Him. Today so many of us, Christians, have become so watered down because we’re spiritually asleep. Our hearts have grown cold. We’re so far from the plan the LORD has for us it seems impossible to return to Him. We’ve run so far from His presence that we feel like He wouldn’t even hear us if we called His name, but the LORD desires that none perish. Instead, He desires that all come to acceptance.

The LORD promised that if we seek Him, we will find Him. Jesus already did the heavy lifting. He died for all of your sins. All that you have to do is call on His name. For all who call on His name shall be saved.

There’s nothing too hard for the LORD. Just as God burned up the soaked offering as Elijah called upon Him, so will He burn up your soaked offering and light that flame within you. There’s nothing too hard for God. He loves you and is waiting for His prodigal child to come home.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Call For Fire.

Desire More

33 And he put the wood in order and cut the bull in pieces and laid it on the wood. And he said, “Fill four jars with water and pour it on the burnt offering and on the wood.” 34 And he said, “Do it a second time.” And they did it a second time. And he said, “Do it a third time.” And they did it a third time. 35 And the water ran around the altar and filled the trench also with water. ~ 1 Kings 18:33-35

Elijah had the people pour 12 jars of water over the offering and the wood until even filled up the trench around the altar that could hold mover than 14 liters of seeds. Elijah didn’t just ask the LORD to burn up his offering; he set forth a test that he knew only the LORD could ever answer. Because not only was the offering burned up, but the trench with all of its water, the wood, and the 12 stones that the wood was placed on. Elijah had no doubt that this task would be easy for God.

Today, God Himself dwells in us. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in us. The Spirit of God hasn’t dwindled. The Spirit of God hasn’t stopped working. He’s waiting for a vessel like Elijah, that was a man no different than us, except in his prayer life and his faith. In fact, Elijah was at a disadvantage that we don’t have today. In those days, the Spirit of God wasn’t poured out on all flesh. The Son of God didn’t dwell in and through them. The only reason we no longer see miracles like this is because our faith depends on our prayer life which depends on our love for God.

Elijah prayed and believed because he knew the God whom he served and he loved Him. Today, the Church chooses the world over God 9 out of 10 times. We’d rather do anything than pray. We’d rather do anything than worship. We’d rather do anything than read our Bible. If we want to see the glory of God through His great signs and wonders, then we have to seek Him with all of our hearts. Our faith has to be unshakable if we want our prayers answered. We have to want more than a lukewarm relationship with God.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Desire More.

Hold To The Sign

10 Again the Lord spoke to Ahaz: 11 “Ask a sign of the Lord your God; let it be deep as Sheol or high as heaven.” 12 But Ahaz said, “I will not ask, and I will not put the Lord to the test.” 13 And he said, “Hear then, O house of David! Is it too little for you to weary men, that you weary my God also? 14 Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call His name Immanuel.” ~ Isaiah 7:10–14

It was because of Ahaz’s rebellion, and blatant disbelief is why he would not ask for a sign. He was putting his hope and trust in idols, not in the Living God. So, he refused to commit himself to God by asking for a sign because if he did, then he would have been obligated to trust God. So, God responded by saying that He Himself would give a sign by sending a deliverer to not only save Israel but to save everyone who will believe, whomsoever will…

Jesus came to be the way for everyone from every nation, every tribe, and every tongue. No one is left out or excluded or disqualified from the plan of salvation. Whomsoever will, can come and receive through faith the free gift of salvation.

That prophecy came to pass over 700 years after it was made in the God-man Jesus Christ. The promise of Revelation 21 was given to us over 2,000 years ago. And not one of God’s good promises has ever failed and this one will not either.

So, prepare yourself and your household. Jesus is coming back. Make no mistake, He will come back to get us so that where He is, there we will be also. And we will be with Him forever and ever. This is our promise from the LORD God Himself. Don’t allow the world with its false gods and idols to convince you to place your hope and trust in someone or something else. The LORD is coming back, and He is coming back soon.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Hold To The Sign.
