Do you seek the LORD? Do you seek Jesus? What would you do to meet Jesus? Zacchaeus was a short man who couldn’t see Jesus above the crowds, so he ran ahead of them and climbed a tree. What’s the significance of this or his story at all? Join Reverend Kenny Yates in the final video of this three-part series, as he explains the three main lessons you can learn, from Zacchaeus, to get Jesus’ Attention On Purpose.
Getting Jesus’ Attention: On Purpose
6 Seek the Lord while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near; 7 let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that He may have compassion on him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.
Isaiah 55:6-7
11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. 13 You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you, declares the Lord, and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, declares the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile.
Jeremiah 29:11-14
