The Old Testament

¹¹ In this manner you shall eat it: with your belt fastened, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. And you shall eat it in haste. It is the Lord’s Passover. ¹² For I will pass through the land of Egypt that night, and I will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and on all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments: I am the Lord. ¹³ The blood shall be a sign for you, on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and no plague will befall you to destroy you, when I strike the land of Egypt.

Exodus 12:11-13

¹⁶ Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no longer stubborn. ¹⁷ For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God, who is not partial and takes no bribe. ¹⁸ He executes justice for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the sojourner, giving him food and clothing.

The New Testament

²⁴ No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve [Yahweh] and [Mammon].

The Bible is filled with the story after story of the deities of old. They are all throughout our Bible. Why? Because they really exist. They really have power. They are real. They aren’t a fantasy or a fairy tale. They aren’t even mythology, as we see them throughout our Bible. So, no, Christians who take the Bible as the unchanged literal Word of our LORD and believe all that is in it are not atheists. They acknowledge that these other religions have power and have a spiritual hand guiding their beliefs. Even though they believe these things, the difference between them and those who practice these religions is that the Christian only worships one. The Alpha and the Omega. The King of kings and LORD of lords. The Beginning and the End. He Who Was, Who Is, And Who Is To Come. Yahweh.
