Winter and The End Times

Winter throughout history has been associated with darkness. From Greek mythology to the Bible, winter isn’t really a time associated with peace and comfort. So, then could there be a connection to winter and the end times? And if so, what does that have to do with us, the Church? Join ArieRashelle as she searches through Scripture to find the connection between Winter and The End Times.

Winter and The End Times

Winter Verses About The End Times

Winter in the Bible, at the very least Biblical prophecy, seems to be associated with The Great Tribulation of the Last Days, which occurs before The Rapture.

19 And alas for women who are pregnant and for those who are nursing infants in those days! 20 Pray that your flight may not be in winter or on a Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be.

Matthew 24:19-21

17 And alas for women who are pregnant and for those who are nursing infants in those days! 18 Pray that it may not happen in winter. 19 For in those days there will be such tribulation as has not been from the beginning of the creation that God created until now, and never will be.

Mark 13:17-19

10 My beloved speaks and says to me: “Arise, my love, my beautiful one, and come away, 11 for behold, the winter is past; the rain is over and gone. 12 The flowers appear on the earth, the time of singing has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land. 13 The fig tree ripens its figs, and the vines are in blossom; they give forth fragrance. Arise, my love, my beautiful one, and come away.”

Song of Solomon 2:10-12

Are We There Yet?

Revelation foretells of many coming daunting events, with Revelation 9 at the top. It tells off a mystery being named Abaddon/Apollyon that rises out of the Bottomless Pit and brings destruction and torment on the earth. Many feel as though these kinds of events are so far off that they seem almost futuristic. But is that true? Are these events far off? Or will they take place in our generation? Join Reverend Kenny Yates in his warning message, Are We There Yet?, and you decide.

Revelation 9:1-6
Genesis 1:1
Revelation 9:11
Revelation 17:8

Are We There Yet?

Abaddon/Apollyon

1 And the fifth angel blew his trumpet, and I saw a star fallen from heaven to earth, and he was given the key to the shaft of the bottomless pit. He opened the shaft of the bottomless pit, and from the shaft rose smoke like the smoke of a great furnace, and the sun and the air were darkened with the smoke from the shaft. Then from the smoke came locusts on the earth, and they were given power like the power of scorpions of the earth.

They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any green plant or any tree, but only those people who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. They were allowed to torment them for five months, but not to kill them, and their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it stings someone. And in those days people will seek death and will not find it. They will long to die, but death will flee from them.

10 They have tails and stings like scorpions, and their power to hurt people for five months is in their tails. 11 They have as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit. His name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek he is called Apollyon.

Revelation 9:1-6, 10-11

The Beast of the Bottomless Pit

In Revelation 9:11 the only prominent figure capable to kill the Two Witnesses of God is Abaddon/Apollyon. Therefore, we believe that the beast that rises from the Bottomless Pit in chapter 11 and 17 are referencing Abaddon/Apollyon.

1 Then I was given a measuring rod like a staff, and I was told, “Rise and measure the temple of God and the altar and those who worship there, but do not measure the court outside the temple; leave that out, for it is given over to the nations, and they will trample the holy city for forty-two months. And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.” These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth.

And if anyone would harm them, fire pours from their mouth and consumes their foes. If anyone would harm them, this is how he is doomed to be killed. They have the power to shut the sky, that no rain may fall during the days of their prophesying, and they have power over the waters to turn them into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague, as often as they desire.

And when they have finished their testimony, the beast that rises from the bottomless pit will make war on them and conquer them and kill them, and their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city that symbolically is called Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord was crucified. For three and a half days some from the peoples and tribes and languages and nations will gaze at their dead bodies and refuse to let them be placed in a tomb, 10 and those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them and make merry and exchange presents, because these two prophets had been a torment to those who dwell on the earth. 11 But after the three and a half days a breath of life from God entered them, and they stood up on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them.

12 Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here!” And they went up to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies watched them. 13 And at that hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.

The Cost of Following Pt. 5: The Threat

Our freedoms are dwindling all around us. Everywhere we turn, someone is trying to take away our freedom while trying to convince us that we want it because it’s for our own good. But is it really for our own good? Why do we need to give up so many of our freedoms? What is their end goal? Will the Church be persecuted? Do the conspiracies of a One World Government (The New World Order) and the persecution of the Church have any truth to them? Join Reverend Kenny Yates as he opens our eyes to coming persecution of the Church in his sobering message, The Cost of Following Pt. 5: The Threat.

Revelation 13:7–8, 15–18
Revelation 13:1–2
Revelation 13:16–17

The Threat of a One World Government

Will the Church Be Persecuted?

What does the Bible say about the persecution of the Church? Here are a few instances of the Church going through tribulation under a One World Order.

1 And I saw a beast rising out of the sea, with ten horns and seven heads, with ten diadems on its horns and blasphemous names on its heads. And the beast that I saw was like a leopard; its feet were like a bear’s, and its mouth was like a lion’s mouth. And to it the dragon gave his power and his throne and great authority. One of its heads seemed to have a mortal wound, but its mortal wound was healed, and the whole earth marveled as they followed the beast. And they worshiped the dragon, for he had given his authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who can fight against it?”

And the beast was given a mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words, and it was allowed to exercise authority for forty-two months. It opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against God, blaspheming his name and his dwelling, that is, those who dwell in heaven. Also it was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them. And authority was given it over every tribe and people and language and nation, and all who dwell on earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain. If anyone has an ear, let him hear:

10 If anyone is to be taken captive, to captivity he goes; if anyone is to be slain with the sword, with the sword must he be slain.

Here is a call for the endurance and faith of the saints.

Revelation 13:1-10

According to Revelation 13, we have the coming threat of the Beast who, as leader of the New World Order (a One World Government), will make war on the Saints of God. The Saints of God are the Church.

15 So when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand), 16 then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. 17 Let the one who is on the housetop not go down to take what is in his house, 18 and let the one who is in the field not turn back to take his cloak. 19 And alas for women who are pregnant and for those who are nursing infants in those days! 20 Pray that your flight may not be in winter or on a Sabbath. 21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be. 22 And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.

Matthew 24:15-22

29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Matthew 24:29-31

It isn’t until after the Great Tribulation that the rapture (the second coming of Christ) occurs. During this time, the Church will be under persecution like never before under the rule of a One World Government (The New World Order). This calls for great faith and endurance of the Church. This is the threat that is coming upon the Church. We have to prepare for the threat that is upon us instead of turning a blind eye because it makes us uncomfortable and filled with fear.

We don’t’ have to be afraid of this coming threat because Jesus has already conquered and we conquer through Him.

11 And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.

Are We In The Last Days?

God promised that in the last days He would do many things, but when exactly is that? When are the last days? How will we know when they have come? What do Acts 2 and Joel 2 have to say about this? Join ArieRashelle as she searches through Scripture to find the answer to these questions and more.

Verses On The Last Days

The Last Days

1 Come now, you rich, weep and howl for the miseries that are coming upon you. Your riches have rotted and your garments are moth-eaten. Your gold and silver have corroded, and their corrosion will be evidence against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have laid up treasure in the last days.

James 5:1-3

1 Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.

Hebrews 1:1-2

The Promise of the Holy Spirit

11 I baptize you with water for repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

Matthew 3:11

15 If you love me, you will keep my commandments. 16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, 17 even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. You know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.

John 14:15-17

God promised that in the Last Days, the Holy Spirit would be poured out on all flesh. John prophesied that Jesus would be the one to baptize us in the Holy Spirit. Jesus promised that when He died and rose again, He would send the Holy Spirit to us. This is why we have Salvation today because God poured out His Holy Spirit on all of mankind.

The Last Day

54 Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.

John 6:54

39 And this is the will of Him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that He has given me, but raise it up on the last day. 40 For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in Him should have eternal life, and I will raise Him up on the last day.

John 6:39-40

And who is the god who will deliver you out of my hands?”

14 Now therefore fear the Lord and serve him in sincerity and in faithfulness. Put away the gods that your fathers served beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord.

Joshua 24:14

1 Afterward Moses and Aaron went and said to Pharaoh, “Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, ‘Let my people go, that they may hold a feast to me in the wilderness.’” But Pharaoh said, “Who is the Lord, that I should obey His voice and let Israel go? 11 The king of Assyria carried the Israelites away to Assyria and put them in Halah, and on the Habor, the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes, 12 because they did not obey the voice of the Lord their God but transgressed his covenant, even all that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded. Jehoiakim was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. He did what was evil in the sight of the Lord his God. Against him came up Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and bound him in chains to take him to Babylon. Nebuchadnezzar also carried part of the vessels of the house of the Lord to Babylon and put them in his palace in Babylon. Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, and the abominations that he did, and what was found against him, behold, they are written in the Book of the Kings of Israel and Judah. And Jehoiachin his son reigned in his place.

The Four Beasts of Daniel 7: The Fourth Beast Pt. 3

In our fifth video, The Four Beasts of Daniel 7: The Fourth Beast Pt. 1, the fourth beast as a king, is Lucifer who is also called Abaddon. He is described as being terrifying, which also means awesome or revered, like the name of God, which was Lucifer’s original sin of trying to be equal to God the Father. He is also the King of Terror which is why Daniel describes the fourth beast as being dreadful and why he goes to destruction. The Fourth Beast is stronger than any of the other beasts, which is why Leviathan needs his help to take down the strong fortresses.

In our sixth video, The Four Beasts of Daniel 7: The Fourth Beast Pt. 2, we discussed that the ten horns on Abaddon’s head are the ten kings that will receive royal power from the Beast. The beast will also divide the land of Israel among other nations to give each of the ten kings a kingdom of his own. The ten kings will then give their authority, power, and land to Abaddon who will form the fourth kingdom, which is Mystery Babylon. This is why John records, in Revelation 17, that Mystery Babylon is carried in or established by Abaddon. These ten kings then rule over Mystery Babylon or the fourth kingdom with Abaddon for one hour. The reason they only get one hour with Abaddon is because three of the ten kings are cut down by the Man of Lawlessness as he rises to power. The Man of Lawlessness is the Son of Destruction since Abaddon is the Hebrew word for destruction.

This is now our Seventh and Final video, The Four Beasts of Daniel 7: The Fourth Beast Pt. 3. Join ArieRashelle as she goes into great detail about the Little Horn on the Fourth Beasts’ head and the outcome of all four beasts.

25 He shall speak words against the Most High, and shall wear out the saints of the Most High, and shall think to change the times and the law; and they shall be given into his hand for a time, times, and half a time. 26 But the court shall sit in judgment, and his dominion shall be taken away, to be consumed and destroyed to the end.

Daniel 7:25-26

22 And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.

Matthew 24:22

And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming.

2 Thessalonians 2:8

The Four Beasts of Daniel 7 Outcome:

The little horn is the Man of Lawlessness whose dominion is cut short and killed by the coming of Jesus. Lucifer is also killed when Jesus comes back to get His bride, the Church, and he is then thrown into the Lake of Fire. Satan, the Beast, and the False Prophet then send out evil spirits to convince the kings of the earth to go to war against Jesus, but Jesus kills the kings of the earth and their armies by the sword of His mouth. The beast and the False Prophet are thrown into the Lake of Fire alive.

Satan is then chained up in the Bottomless Pit during the Thousand Year Reign of Christ, after which he is released to wage war along with those who took the Mark of The Beast against Jerusalem and the Church. Fire comes down from heaven and burns up all of the people who attacked the Church and Jerusalem, and then Satan is thrown into the Lake of Fire for all Eternity after this is the Last Judgment.

The Fourth Beast of Daniel 7 Pt. 2 Verses and Summary:

After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, terrifying and dreadful and exceedingly strong. It had great iron teeth; it devoured and broke in pieces and stamped what was left with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns. I considered the horns, and behold, there came up among them another horn, a little one, before which three of the first horns were plucked up by the roots. And behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking great things.

Daniel 7:7-8

23 Thus he said: ‘As for the fourth beast, there shall be a fourth kingdom on earth, which shall be different from all the kingdoms, and it shall devour the whole earth, and trample it down, and break it to pieces.’ 24 As for the ten horns, out of this kingdom ten kings shall arise, and another shall arise after them; he shall be different from the former ones, and shall put down three kings.

Daniel 7:23-24

The Fourth Beast of Daniel 7 has ten horns:

These ten kings will receive royal power from the Beast Out of The Sea. The beast will also divide the land of Israel among other nations to give each of the ten kings a kingdom of his own. The ten kings will then give their authority, power, and land to Abaddon, who will form the fourth kingdom, which is Mystery Babylon.

The Man of Lawlessness is the Son of Destruction, which can be interpreted as the Son of Abaddon since Abaddon is the Hebrew word for destruction.

The Fourth Beast of Daniel 7 as a Kingdom :

This kingdom will rise or be established after the death of the Two Witnesses. The Two Witnesses testify in Jerusalem until Abaddon arises and kills them after their testimony is complete. Then, the Beast will divide up the land of Israel (presumably with other nations) to the ten kings, so they each have a chunk of Israel for each of their kingdoms. But they each give their power, authority, and land to Abaddon, who then forms the Fourth Kingdom.

The Fourth Kingdom has to include the land of Israel because the little horn that comes out of this kingdom is the Man of Lawlessness, and he is the one who sits in the Temple of God and declares himself to be God.

Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.

Because there are so many different parts of the fourth beast, we’ll break this last beast into three separate videos. The Fourth Beast of Daniel 7 Pt. 1 Summary:

After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, terrifying and dreadful and exceedingly strong. It had great iron teeth; it devoured and broke in pieces and stamped what was left with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns. I considered the horns, and behold, there came up among them another horn, a little one, before which three of the first horns were plucked up by the roots. And behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking great things.

Daniel 7:7-8

17 These four great beasts are four kings who shall arise out of the earth.

Summary of The Third Beast of Daniel 7

After this I looked, and behold, another, like a leopard, with four wings of a bird on its back. And the beast had four heads, and dominion was given to it.

Daniel 7:6

As we stated in the video, the third beast is a leopard because it lies wait watching over its territory. It has two pairs of wings representing the two obligations of his people to receive protection from him. It has four heads representing the four leaders or spirits that it uses to deceive the world and the Church. Lastly, it is given dominion and/or authority.

As we stated in the video, the third beast is the Beast Out of The Earth, also known as the False Prophet. As we stated in our video ‘The Beast Out of The Earth,’ the False Prophet is Belial. The False Prophet is a false religious leader that leads the world and some of the Church astray.
