1 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing. ~ 1 Corinthians 13:1-3
Without love, we are nothing. It’s not all about you. It’s not all about us. It’s about Jesus. It’s about salvation. It’s about loving others that they may believe and live and not die. Outside of the free world, there are Christians who are constantly persecuted for their faith in Jesus. Yet, they don’t hate their persecutors; they pray for them. They show love every chance they get because they understand that without love, they are nothing. Without love, we don’t have hope because without love, we don’t even have Christ. Therefore, show love regardless of what others show you. We don’t repay evil for evil; no, we overcome evil with good.
