Admire His Creation

Romans 1:20 NLT

[20] For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see His invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.

I’ve been cleaning a lot of old records lately. 45s to be exact. And one thing that catches my attention is the grooves in the records and how if they’re damaged in any way, shape, or form, the music recorded in it won’t play. Why? Because when it was being recorded the music literally imprinted itself through vibrations into the record itself. So, if there’s any hindrance in the grooves, even something as tiny as a dust particle or something as large as a scratch, the record will not play correctly. The world, is much like this.

Just as the engineer recorded the music onto the record and the music made its imprint in the record, so did the Father record the Son and the Son make His imprint in all of creation. God spoke and His Word (Jesus, John 1) went out and fulfilled all that He spoke. His Word, left an imprint, just as recording sound on a record does.

Physics even hints at this with the string theory. The String Theory suggests that everything is made of tiny vibrating strings. Each vibration is a different particle. The Quantum Field Theory describes particles as excitations (ripples) in invisible fields—vibrational phenomena. Now, sound is a vibration in air, but physics tells us that everything is governed by waveforms, oscillations, and resonance. What does that mean? That something (or someone) has spoken, causing the sound vibrations that are in everything, and holding everything together (creating everything in the entire universe).

This universe wasn’t created randomly. It wasn’t created without design or purpose. God created all things and imprinted Himself into everything so that His very creation would point to Him. Therefore, be encouraged for we serve a great great God.

Peace. Love. Go Forth and Admire His Creation.
