“The
Lord is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my
fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble? When evil people
come to devour me, when my enemies and foes attack me, they will stumble and
fall. Though a mighty army surrounds me, my heart will not be afraid. Even if I
am attacked, I will remain confident.” ~ Psalms 27:1-3 NLT
Our enemy isn’t always a physical person, but we
always have an enemy. Someone trying to take us down. Someone trying to destroy
us. Right now our enemy is COVID-19. Now I know that sounds silly. How can a
virus be our enemy? It can’t think. It can’t speak. It isn’t just going after
Christians. But it’s our enemy because it is against us. The virus itself may
not have a consciousness, but the evil one who created it and all evil things,
is our enemy. He is trying to destroy not only Christians, but all of humanity.
Revelation 12 says Beware Earth and the Sea because
the Devil has come down here and he knows he is running out of time. So he is
not a toothless lion with no power, neither is this virus a joke. Last us stand
together as brothers and sisters in Christ and pray against other enemy,
COVID-19. That this virus would cease and never return. That all infected by
this virus will be healed in the NAME of Jesus. That the spread of COVID-19
will come to a screeching halt and health, sanity, peace, and love would fill
the Earth.
So don’t be afraid. Don’t allow your hearts to be
troubled. Because our God is our fortress. He will protect us when we run to
Him. He will save us from any calamity or distress, if we just ask. And when
this virus is destroyed, pray against the next enemy that comes, always
believing that God can and will overcome anything for us, if we ask.
Peace. Love. Go Forth and Never Stop Praying.
