His Warm Embrace

15 I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16 So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. ~ Revelation 3:15–16

So many people believe that they can hide from the eyes of God. That they can keep their sin a secret, and God would never find out. But God knows all of our deeds. There is nothing that catches Him by surprise or that He is unaware of. Why? Because He is the God who sees us.

And because God can see our every action, He can be there with us if we call on His name. We don’t have to be ashamed of our past because even though God sees our past, present, and future, He still wants us. He still died for us to be saved. We don’t have to be ashamed because no matter what you’ve done, God still loves you.

Walk in Spirit and Truth

20 For the kingdom of God does not consist in talk but in power. ~ 1 Corinthians 4:20

Today’s Church has become very judgmental of the very idea of miracles performed today. There is a large number of Christians who reject the very idea of Spiritual Gifts. Why? Because our enemy is smart. He is cunning. He understands that if we are filled with the power of God, then we will turn the whole world upside down as Jesus and the early apostles did. That we will grow closer to God. That more people could be saved, so he keeps us powerless.

Why would the Kingdom of God consist of power in Paul’s day but not ours? Did God suddenly change? No. God doesn’t change. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. So, the enemy tries to weaken the Church because it’s through gifts that we not only encourage ourselves, but we encourage others. Sickness, depression, anger, disease are running rampant, and the world can do nothing about it. This is the enemy’s game, weaken the Church, and the whole earth is his.

Therefore, we all need to awaken from our spiritual slumber that has kept us weak and in the dark. We must learn to walk in the power of God and not just talk. When Christ returns, we can’t be caught sleeping. We need to awaken. We need to walk in Spirit and Truth.

Be Strong and Courageous

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. ~ Joshua 1:9KJV

God says, “Be strong and courageous and Do Not Be Afraid!” Why? Because fear is the opposite of faith. Make no mistake; weakness stems from mistrust. You cannot trust someone and fear the results of their decisions. You’ve seen it over and often in the movies. The man holds out his hand to the woman and says, “Do you trust me?” and she will usually say yes and place her hand in his hand. Then they jump from some high building and land safely on the ground or on some floating magic carpet.

Well, that is the same concept. God is holding out His great and mighty hand to us, and He is saying, “Do you trust me?”

If we show fear, we are essentially saying, “No, I do NOT trust you.” A statement that God takes very personally. Because when we say that, we are calling God a liar. An untrustworthy scoundrel.

We are in a spiritual war, a battle for the souls of men. If we show the slightest hint of weakness, the enemy will swoop in and not only eat our lunch but take tomorrow’s lunch money as well. He will strip you of everything you have and leave you broke and naked. And God knows that.

Have Confidence In Your God

15 Then these men came by agreement to the king and said to the king, “Know, O king, that it is a law of the Medes and Persians that no injunction or ordinance that the king establishes can be changed.” 16 Then the king commanded, and Daniel was brought and cast into the den of lions. The king declared to Daniel, “May your God, whom you serve continually, deliver you!” 17 And a stone was brought and laid on the mouth of the den, and the king sealed it with his own signet and with the signet of his lords, that nothing might be changed concerning Daniel. 18 Then the king went to his palace and spent the night fasting; no diversions were brought to him, and sleep fled from him. ~ Daniel 6:15–18

King Darius had no choice but to throw Daniel into the den of lions. These men are in agreement all the way. And that is how the devious are. Those who seek full control. Those who want what others have. They come in agreement and create laws that make it seem like it is in your best interest. It is all about you. We want you safe!

Yet, we don’t notice that the whole time the noose is slowly tightening around our necks.

The main aim of deceivers is to have the injunction signed and a stone laid over the mouth and sealed with the king or government’s signet ring that your situation cannot be changed. But God is able to deliver us!

We will not panic. We will not fret. We will have confidence in our God to deliver us.

Choose Salvation Today

31 It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. ~ Hebrews 10:31

All you who destroy the earth. All you who plot evil against Christians. All you who deceive the citizens of the world through flattery. God is not asleep, for He neither slumbers nor sleeps, but His eye is ever watchful and is always on the righteous, and He knows the way of the sinner. They shall not escape.

You who spread a net for someone else’s feet, how will your feet be kept from falling into the same trap?

This is your opportunity. Today is the day of salvation; tomorrow is promised to no man. Remember, the Lake of Fire is hot, and eternity is a long, long time. Choose your side wisely.

I’m telling you. You do not want to be caught on the wrong side when Jesus returns with His rewards in His hand. Good or bad, His rewards are with Him. Because Pay Back is No Beach Trip.

Repent For Forgiveness

24 And the king commanded, and those men who had maliciously accused Daniel were brought and cast into the den of lions—they, their children, and their wives. And before they reached the bottom of the den, the lions overpowered them and broke all their bones in pieces. ~ Daniel 6:24

King Darius commanded that the same men who had come into agreement to falsely accuse Daniel were to be thrown into the lions’ den. The same judgment that they laid out for Daniel was now theirs. But not just theirs alone, but their wives and their children as well.

Whatever you sow, that you shall also reap. There’s no way around it. Pay back ain’t no beach trip. It will cause you all you have and all you care about. You cannot mess with the children of God without offending God. But it’s never too late to repent. It’s never too late to come back to God, regardless of what you’ve done. God will forgive you, but only if you repent.

Seek Your Brother

17 A friend loves at all times,  and a brother is born for adversity. ~ Proverbs 17:17

A friend will stick by you when times are easy, but as soon as things become difficult, a friend will abandon you. They won’t be there for you. But when times are hard, a brother (or sister) will be there for you. They’ll fight for you and with you. A friend may be there when times are good, but what happens when things get hard? When the good times are over? They bail.

Jesus starts out as our friend, but as soon as adversity comes our way, He is still there. Why? Because He is now birthed into a brother. Jesus is waiting to grow His relationship with you. All you have to do is spend time with Him. Pray, worship, read your Bible, seek His face. Jesus may be everyone’s friend, but unless you seek Him out, how can He become your brother?

Overcome Through Christ

18b and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it. ~ Matthew 16:18b

Ever since the time of Jesus and the inception of the Church, we have been under attack by our enemies. They have stomped and stomped, but stomp as they may, the gates of hell have never and will never prevail over the Church.

Trials and tribulations will come. Persecution and all manner of evil may come against you, but be encouraged today, because no matter what may come your way, the gates of Hell, the enemy, will never overcome you. For Christ has already overcome the world, and we overcome through Him.

Where There’s Desire

1Jesus entered Jericho and was passing through. 2A man was there by the name of Zacchaeus; he was a chief tax collector and was wealthy. 3He wanted to see who Jesus was, but being a short man he could not, because of the crowd. 4So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree to see Him, since Jesus was coming that way. 5When Jesus reached the spot, He looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, come down immediately. I must stay at your house today.” 6So he came down at once and welcomed him gladly. ~ Luke 19:1-6

So often, we allow the littlest things to keep us from our call. When we see an obstacle in front of us, we don’t try to find a way through it or around it. Oftentimes, we just give up. We should take a lesson from Zacchaeus. We must be more determined and not let anything stop us from seeing Jesus. Don’t lose sight of your dream because someone else is discouraging you. Maybe they are a part of the crowd; they’ve seen Jesus; now it’s your turn, don’t let the crowd discourage you.

Where there is a desire
There is hope
Where there is hope
There is faith
Where there is faith
There are miracles

You didn’t get that. I’m saying you can’t keep doing the same old things you have always been doing and get different results. If desperate times call for desperate actions, then take intentional desperate actions. When you’re hungry for a move, then a move will come. It is those who hunger and thirst that will be filled. You have to have the desire.

Go Ye Into All The World

16 Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves. ~ Matthew 10:16

Jesus said that He was sending His disciples out amongst wolves. Today, He is still sending His disciples out amongst wolves, in His command, “Go ye into all the world …”

We are commanded to go into all the world and preach the Gospel.

And the wolves are ravenous out there, and even more so as the end of time approaches. So, don’t just take their word for it. Don’t just believe it is all about you and your best interest; look at the facts and do what is right for you, no matter the consequences. Do what is right for you and what is right for your family in the sight of Jesus.

Dear LORD, help me to be as wise as serpents and innocent as doves, that our character may not even be questioned as Daniel’s wasn’t. Help me to learn to use our two greatest weapons, Your precious blood and the word of our testimony. Teach me to go out into all the earth and not fall into the traps of the evil one. Be with me in everything I do. In Jesus’ name, I pray, amen.
