Does The Bible Support Teleportation?

The idea for someone or something to move from one place to another in a blink of an eye has been an idea from ancient times. Whether by beam or simply disappearing and reappearing in another place, the idea of teleportation isn’t new. If other ancient religions believed in teleportation, did the Jews? And if they did, does that mean the Bible supports teleportation as well? Join ArieRashelle as we search through Scripture to find any basis for the science-fiction notion of teleportation in our video, Does The Bible Support Teleportation?

Does The Bible Support Teleportation?

Stories of Teleportation in the Bible

Enoch

21 When Enoch had lived 65 years, he fathered Methuselah. 22 Enoch walked with God after he fathered Methuselah 300 years and had other sons and daughters. 23 Thus all the days of Enoch were 365 years. 24 Enoch walked with God, and he was not, for God took him.

Genesis 5:21-24

By faith Enoch was taken up so that he should not see death, and he was not found, because God had taken him. Now before he was taken he was commended as having pleased God.

Hebrews 11:5

Korah

31 And as soon as he had finished speaking all these words, the ground under them split apart. 32 And the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, with their households and all the people who belonged to Korah and all their goods. 33 So they and all that belonged to them went down alive into Sheol, and the earth closed over them, and they perished from the midst of the assembly.

Deuteronomy 16:31-33

How could they fall from the surface of the earth to the center of the earth into Sheol without dying? This has to be some form of portal, as that distance would have killed them and smashed all of their goods. I’d say that this is the Bible in support of teleportation.

Elijah

11 And as they still went on and talked, behold, chariots of fire and horses of fire separated the two of them. And Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. 12 And Elisha saw it and he cried, ‘My father, my father! The chariots of Israel and its horsemen!’ And he saw him no more.

2 Kings 2:11-12

Ezekiel

12 Then the Spirit lifted me up, and I heard behind me the voice of a great earthquake: ‘Blessed be the glory of the Lord from its place!’ 13 It was the sound of the wings of the living creatures as they touched one another, and the sound of the wheels beside them, and the sound of a great earthquake. 14 The Spirit lifted me up and took me away, and I went in bitterness in the heat of my spirit, the hand of the Lord being strong upon me. 15 And I came to the exiles at Tel-abib, who were dwelling by the Chebar canal, and I sat where they were dwelling. And I sat there overwhelmed among them seven days.

Ezekiel 3:12-15

1 In the sixth year, in the sixth month, on the fifth day of the month, as I sat in my house, with the elders of Judah sitting before me, the hand of the Lord God fell upon me there. Then I looked, and behold, a form that had the appearance of a man. Below what appeared to be His waist was fire, and above His waist was something like the appearance of brightness, like gleaming metal. He put out the form of a hand and took me by a lock of my head, and the Spirit lifted me up between earth and heaven and brought me in visions of God to Jerusalem, to the entrance of the gateway of the inner court that faces north, where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provokes to jealousy. And behold, the glory of the God of Israel was there, like the vision that I saw in the valley.

Ezekiel 8:1-4

1 The Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the east gate of the house of the Lord, which faces east. And behold, at the entrance of the gateway there were twenty-five men. And I saw among them Jaazaniah the son of Azzur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people. And He said to me, ‘Son of man, these are the men who devise iniquity and who give wicked counsel in this city; who say, ‘The time is not near to build houses. This city is the cauldron, and we are the meat.’ Therefore prophesy against them; prophesy, O son of man.’

Ezekiel 11:1-4

24 And the Spirit lifted me up and brought me in the vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to the exiles. Then the vision that I had seen went up from me. 25 And I told the exiles all the things that the Lord had shown me.

Ezekiel 11:24-25

1 The hand of the Lord was upon me, and he brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord and set me down in the middle of the valley; it was full of bones. And he led me around among them, and behold, there were very many on the surface of the valley, and behold, they were very dry.

Ezekiel 37:1-2

1 In the twenty-fifth year of our exile, at the beginning of the year, on the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city was struck down, on that very day, the hand of the Lord was upon me, and he brought me to the city. In visions of God He brought me to the land of Israel, and set me down on a very high mountain, on which was a structure like a city to the south. When He brought me there, behold, there was a man whose appearance was like bronze, with a linen cord and a measuring reed in his hand. And he was standing in the gateway. And the man said to me, ‘Son of man, look with your eyes, and hear with your ears, and set your heart upon all that I shall show you, for you were brought here in order that I might show it to you. Declare all that you see to the house of Israel.’

Ezekiel 40:1-4

1 Then He led me to the gate, the gate facing east. And behold, the glory of the God of Israel was coming from the east. And the sound of His coming was like the sound of many waters, and the earth shone with his glory. And the vision I saw was just like the vision that I had seen when He came to destroy the city, and just like the vision that I had seen by the Chebar canal. And I fell on my face. As the glory of the Lord entered the temple by the gate facing east, the Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court; and behold, the glory of the Lord filled the temple.

Ezekiel 43:1-5

Jesus

Not only does the Bible say that Jesus was teleported into heaven in the ascension, but Jesus teleports multiple times throughout the Gospels. Would this not be the Bible in support of teleportation?

She gave birth to a male child, one who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron, but her child was caught up to God and to His throne, and the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, in which she is to be nourished for 1,260 days.

Revelation 12:4-5

1 Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. And after fasting forty days and forty nights, He was hungry. And the tempter came and said to Him, ‘If You are the Son of God, command these stones to become loaves of bread.’ But He answered, ‘It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” Then the devil took Him to the holy city and set Him on the pinnacle of the temple and said to Him, ‘If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written, “‘He will command His angels concerning you,’ and “‘On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.’” Jesus said to him, ‘Again it is written, ‘You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.’’ Again, the devil took Him to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to Him, “All these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me.” 10 Then Jesus said to him, “Be gone, Satan! For it is written, “‘You shall worship the Lord your God and Him only shall you serve.’” 11 Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and were ministering to Him.”

Matthew 4:1-11

19 So then the Lord Jesus, after He had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.

Mark 16:19

Philip

38 And he commanded the chariot to stop, and they both went down into the water, Philip and the eunuch, and he baptized him. 39 And when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord carried Philip away, and the eunuch saw him no more, and went on his way rejoicing. 40 But Philip found himself at Azotus, and as he passed through he preached the gospel to all the towns until he came to Caesarea.

Acts 8:38-40

John

1 After this I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven! And the first voice, which I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet, said, ‘Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.’ At once I was in the Spirit, and behold, a throne stood in heaven, with one seated on the throne.

Revelation 4:1-2

The Rapture

30 Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Matthew 24:30-31

16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.

The Creation Story Pt. 4: The Theory of Evolution

Throughout our public-school system and private schools, Evolution is taught as a fact with it being the absolute and only truth explaining the existence of mankind. While Creationism is not only removed from the curriculum but mocked and called foolishness and a crutch. This now begs the question, “Is Evolution fact?” Join Reverend Kenny Yates as he digs deep into the claims of Evolution compared to Scripture in our latest video, ‘The Creation Story Pt. 4: The Theory of Evolution.’

Genesis 1:26-28
Genesis 11:1-9
Acts 8

The Dangers of Evolution vs. Creation

Evolution is currently the only explanation for the existence of mankind taught in our public school system today. Evolution is the Scientific Theory that all organisms evolved from one common ancestor through Natural Selection and Genetic Drift. The earliest undisputed evidence of life, according to secular Scientists, dates back 3.5 billion years ago during the Eoarchean Era.

Evolution states that mankind or homo sapiens evolved from primates or more specifically Genus Homo. This evolution from primates to humans took around 15 to 20 million years to evolve and mutate into the mankind we have today. This is in direct contradiction to the Genesis account of Creation.

Genesis 1:26-28

26 Then God said, ‘Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.’ 27 So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 And God blessed them. And God said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.’

Explanation

According to Scripture, which is the Word of God and is directly God-breathed, God came down to earth and formed man in His own image. He then put the man to sleep, took one of his rib bones, and formed a woman from man. They then went on to multiply and fill the earth. So, according to God-Himself, the Creator of everything, we did not evolve from apes. God formed us by hand. We were divinely designed.

Some could ask what could be the danger of believing in Evolution rather than Creation? Well, here is one danger. According to The Theory of Evolution, mankind evolved from Primates into Neanderthals, and finally into humans. Secular scientists tell us that blacks were the first humans on earth and that Africa is the motherland of all people. This statement doesn’t sound like a problem until you take your time and really think about what this statement is saying. According to The Theory of Evolution, we are evolving to survive, and only the strong survive. Therefore, the more we evolve, the smarter, stronger, and more superior we become. So, as Yale so kindly pointed out in a video showing our evolution as humans, the most evolved humans are white.

So, according to Evolution, all non-white blonde light-eyed people would be inferior as they are less evolved. Therefore, evolution not only justifies the slavery and extermination of any and all non-whites, but it also encourages it, as only the strong shall survive. This dangerous thinking can lead to many injustices and even genocides, such as the Jim Crow Laws, Holocaust, the Armenian Genocide, the Native American Reservations, to name a few.

What Does God Say?

This is not the way that God created nor intended us to see or treat one another. We were all created and formed by the hands of God. He came to die so that none would perish, but all have Eternal Life. God is not a God of hate or evil, but instead, He is a God of love and goodness. He sacrificed Himself so that we may live and not die. No man or woman was created inferior to another; instead, we were all created equal. Not only is Evolution false, but it is also a racist, degrading, and chaotic belief that leaves humans divided amongst each other with no purpose for existence. Evolution is a hopeless belief that divides us as the human race, while creation is filled with hope, unity, and equality.

Baal and Asherah

Throughout the Old Testament, we see the Israelites succumb to the worship of both Baal and Asherah. They followed in the footsteps of the people that God drove out before them. Thousands of years later, in today’s society, are we doing the same thing? Have we fallen prey to this evil duo’s tricks, not even realizing that we are worshiping these ancient spirits? Join ArieRashelle as she dissects the Bible to find any similarities between the ancient practices of Baal worshipers and today’s culture in our video, Baal and Asherah.

Baal & Asherah

Baal and Asherah were two giant stumbling blocks for the people of Israel. All through the Old Testament, the people of Israel fell into Baal and Asherah worship, and it is no different for us today. We may not sacrifice our children on altars for everyone to see; instead, we sacrifice them behind closed doors at a doctor’s office and call it healthcare and freedom. Ever wonder why if you try to fight for the rights of the unborn, you are accused of ‘starting a war on women’?

America has fallen into the same traps that the people of Israel did thousands of years ago. Spirits never die; they just evolve with culture. We no longer call out to Baal as we slice our arms hoping he will respond; instead, we do it behind closed doors so that we can ease the pain. We’ve bought the lie that if we cut ourselves, we are numbing the pain. All we’re doing is causing ourselves more pain, both mental and physical.

Now What?

The only thing that can save us now is prayer and fasting. We have to break down the strongholds that hold our nation. We have to pull down the veil that these spirits have blinded our people with.

14 if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

2 Chronicles 7:14

Seek the LORD, and He will forgive our sins and heal our land. Lift your children up in prayer daily. Pray a hedge of protection around you and your family. God is faithful, cry out to Him, and He will hear you. Seek Him, and you will find Him. Bring your petition before the LORD.

The Spirit of Belial

In the Church today, we see ourselves having one enemy and one enemy alone, Satan or The Devil. We don’t see other spirits mentioned in the Bible as other enemies, such as Beelzebul or Leviathan. We see all spirits as the same being, unlike the early Church and our Forefathers of the faith. One of the most overlooked enemies of the Church is Belial. In the Bible, Paul even asks what Christ and Belial have in common. We’ve read his name once or twice, but we have no idea who he is or how to identify him. In fact, most of us just categorize Belial as another name for Satan or Lucifer, but are they the same being? Join ArieRashelle as she searches through Scripture to find the Truth behind this ominous spirit in our video, The Spirit of Belial.

The Spirit of Belial

Some Traits of The Sons (Children) of Belial in The Bible

Throughout the Bible, specifically the Old Testament, the LORD gives us examples of the Sons or Children of Belial and their characteristics or actions. In other words, people with these different kinds of character traits often suffer from these flaws are often oppressed by a spirit of Belial.

They Are Evil

12 And the tribes of Israel sent men through all the tribe of Benjamin, saying, “What evil is this that has taken place among you? 13 Now therefore give up the men, the worthless fellows in Gibeah, that we may put them to death and purge evil from Israel.” But the Benjaminites would not listen to the voice of their brothers, the people of Israel.

Judges 20:12-13

They Are Alcoholics

13 Hannah was speaking in her heart; only her lips moved, and her voice was not heard. Therefore Eli took her to be a drunken woman. 14 And Eli said to her, “How long will you go on being drunk? Put your wine away from you.” 15 But Hannah answered, “No, my lord, I am a woman troubled in spirit. I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but I have been pouring out my soul before the Lord. 16 Do not regard your servant as a worthless woman, for all along I have been speaking out of my great anxiety and vexation.”

1 Samuel 1:13-16

They Reject God-Ordained Authority

20 Then Samuel brought all the tribes of Israel near, and the tribe of Benjamin was taken by lot. 21 He brought the tribe of Benjamin near by its clans, and the clan of the Matrites was taken by lot; and Saul the son of Kish was taken by lot. But when they sought him, he could not be found. 22 So they inquired again of the Lord, “Is there a man still to come?” and the Lord said, “Behold, he has hidden himself among the baggage.” 23 Then they ran and took him from there. And when he stood among the people, he was taller than any of the people from his shoulders upward. 24 And Samuel said to all the people, “Do you see him whom the Lord has chosen? There is none like him among all the people.” And all the people shouted, “Long live the king!”

25 Then Samuel told the people the rights and duties of the kingship, and he wrote them in a book and laid it up before the Lord. Then Samuel sent all the people away, each one to his home. 26 Saul also went to his home at Gibeah, and with him went men of valor whose hearts God had touched. 27 But some worthless fellows said, “How can this man save us?” And they despised him and brought him no present. But he held his peace.

1 Samuel 10:20-27
Deeper Explanation

The Spirit of Belial causes people to reject not only God but also reject those whom God has ordained and/or sent to them. This is especially dangerous because if you reject God, there’s still hope because someone can still teach you and lead you to Christ, but if you reject both God and those who God has sent, how can you ever be saved?

No One Can Speak To Them

14 But one of the young men told Abigail, Nabal’s wife, “Behold, David sent messengers out of the wilderness to greet our master, and he railed at them. 15 Yet the men were very good to us, and we suffered no harm, and we did not miss anything when we were in the fields, as long as we went with them. 16 They were a wall to us both by night and by day, all the while we were with them keeping the sheep. 17 Now therefore know this and consider what you should do, for harm is determined against our master and against all his house, and he is such a worthless man that one cannot speak to him.”

1 Samuel 25:14-17
Deeper Explanation

The Bible gives us the example of Nabal, a king that wasn’t necessarily evil, as an example of having the Spirit of Belial or being a Son of Belial. The reason the Bible refers to Nabal as a Son of Belial is because he refuses to listen to correction or wise council. Here’s the problem with this, if we always reject correction, then we’ll never know the Truth. No one gets every single thing right, which is why we need Godly correction. We need to understand that God sends people to correct us in love so that on Judgment Day, He may find no flaw in us.

They Are Foolish

23 When Abigail saw David, she hurried and got down from the donkey and fell before David on her face and bowed to the ground. 24 She fell at his feet and said, “On me alone, my lord, be the guilt. Please let your servant speak in your ears, and hear the words of your servant. 25 Let not my lord regard this worthless fellow, Nabal, for as his name is, so is he. Nabal is his name, and folly is with him. But I your servant did not see the young men of my lord, whom you sent.

1 Samuel 25:23-25

They Are Selfish

20 David also captured all the flocks and herds, and the people drove the livestock before him, and said, “This is David’s spoil.” 21 Then David came to the two hundred men who had been too exhausted to follow David, and who had been left at the brook Besor. And they went out to meet David and to meet the people who were with him. And when David came near to the people he greeted them.

22 Then all the wicked and worthless fellows among the men who had gone with David said, “Because they did not go with us, we will not give them any of the spoil that we have recovered, except that each man may lead away his wife and children, and depart.” 23 But David said, “You shall not do so, my brothers, with what the Lord has given us. He has preserved us and given into our hand the band that came against us. 24 Who would listen to you in this matter? For as his share is who goes down into the battle, so shall his share be who stays by the baggage. They shall share alike.”

Leviathan

Throughout the Old Testament, we see a figure referred to as Leviathan. Many claim that this creature is an alligator or crocodile of some kind. But Scripture seems to deem this creature to be much greater than that. God even compares His own strength to that of Leviathan’s in Job 41. So what is Leviathan? Could he be a spiritual being like Satan? Join ArieRashelle as she searches Scripture for the identity of Leviathan in her video, Leviathan.

Leviathan

Leviathan is a spiritual being, like Satan, that God uses to describe His own strength and power.

1 Can you draw out Leviathan with a fishhook or press down his tongue with a cord? Can you put a rope in his nose or pierce his jaw with a hook? Will he make many pleas to you? Will he speak to you soft words? Will he make a covenant with you to take him for your servant forever? Will you play with him as with a bird, or will you put him on a leash for your girls? Will traders bargain over him? Will they divide him up among the merchants? Can you fill his skin with harpoons or his head with fishing spears? Lay your hands on him; remember the battle—you will not do it again! 9 Behold, the hope of a man is false; he is laid low even at the sight of him. 10 No one is so fierce that he dares to stir him up. Who then is he who can stand before me? 11 Who has first given to me, that I should repay him? Whatever is under the whole heaven is mine.

Are Satan and Beelzebul The Same Being?

As a Church, we often take Church Tradition as absolute fact instead of looking at Scripture and analyzing it for ourselves. We’ve been taught that Satan and Lucifer are the same being, as well as Satan and Beelzebul. Now, if the Bible didn’t validate Church Tradition when it came to Satan and Lucifer, could it be then that the Bible doesn’t validate the Church Tradition that Satan and Beelzebul either? Join ArieRashelle as she dissects Matthew 12:24-26 to finally answer these questions and more in her video, Are Satan and Beelzebul The Same Being?

More on Satan and Beelzebul

To me, it sounds like Beelzebul is a demon.

24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, “It is only by Beelzebul, the prince of demons, that this man casts out demons.”

Matthew 12:24

To be the prince of something, you have to be a part of it. Therefore, Satan cannot be the same as Beelzebul if Beelzebul is a demon. Why can’t Satan be a demon? As we discussed in previous videos, Satan is a Beast of the Field, not a demon. He was the Serpent in the Garden of Eden who tempted Eve. According to Deuteronomy, demons weren’t known by the people of Israel until they left Egypt and entered the land of Canaan. The land of Canaan was filled with demonic worship.

15 But Jeshurun grew fat, and kicked; you grew fat, stout, and sleek; then he forsook God who made him and scoffed at the Rock of his salvation. 16 They stirred him to jealousy with strange gods; with abominations they provoked him to anger. 17 They sacrificed to demons that were no gods, to gods they had never known, to new gods that had come recently, whom your fathers had never dreaded. 18 You were unmindful of the Rock that bore you, and you forgot the God who gave you birth.

Deuteronomy 32:15-18

If Beelzebul is, in fact, a demon, then he has to be a completely separate being from Satan. As we just read, demons had only recently come on the earth when Israel left Egypt and entered Canaan. Therefore, they have to be two separate beings since Satan was in the Garden of Eden and was on the earth from his creation.

Revelation 12 War: Why Did Satan Attack?

Revelation 12 is the solo account of Satan’s fall. It specifically records Satan and Michael’s war, as well as Satan being thrown from Heaven to earth by Michael.

Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back, but he was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
10 And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God. 11 And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death. 12 Therefore, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short!”

The Occult

As time goes on, we’ve noticed a shift in our culture. Things that were once weird, taboo, odd, creepy, dangerous, scary, evil are now normal, fun, empowering, inspiring, progressive, and positive. Things of the Occult once hid in the shadows, but now they have made their way to the forefront, making their presence known to all. Casting spells on the President is applauded instead of appalled. Marching as the Whore of Babylon is empowering instead of destructive. Playing the Ouija Board is an enlightening game for young children, instead of a dangerous door opener to the demonic. Witchcraft has been brought to the forefront and normalized in our society.

The Occult and all of its practices are becoming accepted more and more throughout our society, but does it matter? Are all practices of The Occult dangerous? Aren’t some White Magic? The Occult in The Old Testament

Horoscopes

10 You felt secure in your wickedness; you said, ‘No one sees me’; your wisdom and your knowledge led you astray, and you said in your heart, ‘I am, and there is no one besides me.’ 11 But evil shall come upon you, which you will not know how to charm away; disaster shall fall upon you, for which you will not be able to atone; and ruin shall come upon you suddenly, of which you know nothing. 12 Stand fast in your enchantments and your many sorceries, with which you have labored from your youth; perhaps you may be able to succeed; perhaps you may inspire terror.

13 You are wearied with your many counsels; let them stand forth and save you, those who divide the heavens, who gaze at the stars, who at the new moons make known what shall come upon you. 14 Behold, they are like stubble; the fire consumes them; they cannot deliver themselves from the power of the flame. No coal for warming oneself is this, no fire to sit before! 15 Such to you are those with whom you have labored, who have done business with you from your youth; they wander about, each in his own direction; there is no one to save you.

Isaiah 47:10-15

The LORD is speaking to Babylon in this verse, telling them that all the things they thought would protect them, give them power, and take them to the next level, would actually be their downfall. The LORD even taunts them, saying, “Stand Fast in your enchantments and your many sorceries… perhaps you may be able to succeed… let them stand forth and save you, those who divide the heavens, who gaze at the stars, who at the new moons make known what shall come upon you…” Babylon’s sin isn’t just doing witchcraft, but also dividing the heavens and gazing up at the stars for things to be revealed to them. Does that sound like anything familiar? Maybe Horoscopes? Horoscopes are read daily by many people, including Christians, yet that would be one of the main things that incur the wrath of God upon Babylon. Are we incurring the wrath of God upon ourselves when we read our horoscopes?

Child Sacrifice

27 Then he [the king of Moab] took his oldest son who was to reign in his place and offered him for a burnt offering on the wall. And there came great wrath against Israel. And they withdrew from him and returned to their own land.

2 Kings 3:27

“If I had not had that abortion, I’m pretty sure there would have been no Fleetwood Mac,” she said. “There’s just no way that I could have had a child then, working as hard as we worked constantly. And there were a lot of drugs, I was doing a lot of drugs … I would have had to walk away.

“And I knew that the music we were going to bring to the world was going to heal so many people’s hearts and make people so happy,” she continued. “And I thought: you know what? That’s really important. There’s not another band in the world that has two lead women singers, two lead women writers. That was my world’s mission.”

The Washington Times (Friday, October 16, 2020) quoting Stevie Nicks

Today we don’t sacrifice our children on a direct alter outside. We don’t burn them in a fire. We murder them while they are still in our wombs. During the time of the Old Testament Prophets, they murdered their children to win a battle, gain control of other nations, world dominance, etc. Today, we murder our children for the sake of a band making music. Let me be very clear on this; there is no difference between murdering a baby outside of the womb and murdering a baby inside of the womb. The baby is a baby no matter where it is, no matter how small it is, and no matter how little anyone thinks of it. The baby is a human life, and to end that life is murder. Period.

If those of the Old Testament murdered their children and a spirit responded, when we murder our children wouldn’t those same spirits respond? If so, then wouldn’t abortion then be witchcraft? We sacrifice our children so that we can gain something that WE deem is more important. There is no reason to murder an innocent life. This is indeed witchcraft alive and well in our society. The only difference is we’ve painted it as healthcare and a civil right. Instead of throwing them in a fire, where everyone can hear their screams and their cries, we tear them limb from limb in the mother’s womb so no one can hear them cry and no one can see them try to squirm away. While the ancients were honest in their murder and called it for what it was and still is, child sacrifice, we’ve called it, Abortion.

The Occult in The New Testament

We all know the story of the Seven Sons of Sceva, they were Jewish Exorcists who heard of Paul and the miracles he was doing. So, they began invoking the name of Jesus, saying, “I adjure you by the Jesus whom Paul proclaims.” But the evil spirit responded, “Jesus I know, and Paul I recognize, but who are you?” And the man, whom the evil spirits were in, overcame them all, leaving them to run out of the home naked and wounded. But we often ignore what happened next.

17 And this became known to all the residents of Ephesus, both Jews and Greeks. And fear fell upon them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was extolled. 18 Also many of those who were now believers came, confessing and divulging their practices. 19 And a number of those who had practiced magic arts brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all. And they counted the value of them and found it came to fifty thousand pieces of silver. 20 So the word of the Lord continued to increase and prevail mightily.

Acts 19:17-20

This story led to those who had recently been practicing witchcraft or magic arts to not only give up that lifestyle but burn their books in the sight of all. Keep in mind those books weren’t cheap either, to give you a little idea of what they were worth, depending on the type of piece of silver, they could be worth anywhere from $5.5 million to $1.5 billion. Either way, those books were worth a lot of money, yet they saw the difference between right and wrong, and they burned their books and repented. If they, 2,000 years ago, saw a problem with magic arts and Christianity, why don’t we in today’s world? Why don’t we see the problem with mixing The Occult and Christianity?

The Occult Conclusion

You can’t have your cake and eat it too. Neither can you have The Occult and Christianity, for what does light have in common with darkness? Choose today whom you shall serve, for tomorrow, is promised to no man. Today is the day of Salvation. Those who practiced magic arts, The Occult, saw the Truth could not be paired with a lie and repented. Nothing has changed; the Truth still cannot be paired with a lie. If you would like to accept your free gift of Salvation, all you have to do is repeat this prayer,

“Dear Jesus, please forgive me of my sins and cleanse me of all unrighteousness. I accept Your free gift of Salvation and declare You as LORD of my life. Thank You for dying on the cross to save me. Thank You for Your forgiveness. In the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.”

Are Ghosts Real?

Ghosts In The Bible

So Saul disguised himself and put on other garments and went, he and two men with him. And they came to the woman by night. And he said, “Divine for me by a spirit and bring up for me whomever I shall name to you.” The woman said to him, “Surely you know what Saul has done, how he has cut off the mediums and the necromancers from the land. Why then are you laying a trap for my life to bring about my death?”

10 But Saul swore to her by the Lord, “As the Lord lives, no punishment shall come upon you for this thing.” 11 Then the woman said, “Whom shall I bring up for you?” He said, “Bring up Samuel for me.” 12 When the woman saw Samuel, she cried out with a loud voice. And the woman said to Saul, “Why have you deceived me? You are Saul.” 13 The king said to her, “Do not be afraid. What do you see?” And the woman said to Saul, “I see a god coming up out of the earth.”

14 He said to her, “What is his appearance?” And she said, “An old man is coming up, and he is wrapped in a robe.” And Saul knew that it was Samuel, and he bowed with his face to the ground and paid homage. 15 Then Samuel said to Saul, “Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up?” Saul answered, “I am in great distress, for the Philistines are warring against me, and God has turned away from me and answers me no more, either by prophets or by dreams. Therefore I have summoned you to tell me what I shall do.”

1 Samuel 28:8-15

25 And in the fourth watch of the night He came to them, walking on the sea. 26 But when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were terrified, and said, “It is a ghost!” and they cried out in fear. 27 But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Take heart; it is I. Do not be afraid.”

Matthew 14:25-27

More Info on Hauntings

To clarify, we, the HoldToHope Family, do not believe that hauntings are done by ghosts, but instead by the Demonic/Satanic Realm. That would include Demons, Beasts of The Field, Angels, and other spirits. We do not believe that a soul or spirit roams the Earth due to unfinished business or deals with the Devil. We believe that after a person dies, their soul/spirit goes straight to either Heaven or Sheol (Hades).

During the video we asked the question can God be an accessory to sin? We believe that God cannot and is never an accessory to sin. We do believe, however, that God allows spirits as well as other people to tempt people into committing a sin. Just as it was not God who was tormenting Job, but it was Satan. Even though God allowed it to happen, He did not orchestrate it, nor was He a part of it. Same with the lying spirit in the mouth of the prophets. God allowed the spirit to lie to the prophets, deceiving Ahab, and ultimately bringing His downfall. If this was not enough explanation for this subject, let us know in the comment section below, and we will dedicate an entire video to this question. Until next time, God Bless

Are Demons Real?

It seems like the older we get, the more we believe that the spiritual realm and the supernatural are just fairy tales. We become more and more skeptical of testimonies of the spiritual world, especially in terms of belief in demons, which is even taboo in the church. We’ve become desensitized to everything that we can’t see, hear, or touch. Though many don’t believe in demons, many have no other choice but to, because they actually see them. In today’s world seeing demons is seen as a mental illness, and many are actually hospitalized for being able to. Many even question if demons are even in the Bible. Many believe that demons aren’t real, they’re just misunderstood ghosts. Join ArieRashelle as she strives to answer the question, Are Demons Real?

Fun Facts

  • Demons are only mentioned in the Old Testament twice. We see entities that are translated as goat demons, but that is actually the Hebrew word se’irim’. Whereas the word demon is the Hebrew word sedim. They are two completely different words, with different meanings.
  • 1/3 of Jesus’ ministry was casting out demons. Everywhere He went He casted out demons, whether it was in the Synagogue or out in the fields.
  • After casting out a demon in front of the Pharisees, Jesus said, “the Kingdom of God has come.” Before then, Jesus quieted everyone and told them not to tell anyone. In fact even His first miracle, turning water into wine, Jesus said His time hadn’t yet come. Even before that miracle, Jesus (as well as John the Baptist) preached that the Kingdom of God is at hand, but when casting out the demons, Jesus said “the Kingdom of God has come.”
    • Matthew 3:1-2
    • Matthew 4:17
    • Matthew 12:22-32
    • Luke 11:20
  • During the End Times after the Sixth Trumpet is blown, many people are killed by plagues, but the interesting thing is what John reveals is their response, “20 The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands nor give up worshiping demons and idols of gold and silver and bronze and stone and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk, 21 nor did they repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.” (Revelation 9:20-21) They refused to give up worshiping demons. The worship of demons will be one of the greatest downfalls of humanity in the Last Days.
  • According to Paul, teachings of demons are 1 Timothy 4:1-5, ” Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, through the insincerity of liars whose consciences are seared, who forbid marriage and require abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, for it is made holy by the word of God and prayer. “ The teachings of demons will be forwarded by liars who don’t have a conscience, forbid marriage, and require abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving. Just think about that…

Testimonials

A Woman with Epilepsy

While working with the homeless, we met a woman who suffered from epilepsy since the age of 16 (she is now in her 40s). It wasn’t even that we just heard that she suffered from epilepsy, but we witnessed it every time we saw her, which was at least once a week. She had prescription medication that she had been on for over 30 years. During one visit she just kept having seizure after seizure after seizure. Celia decided enough was enough and we needed to help her, so Celia laid hands on her and started casting out a demon. As Celia and Kenny were praying and casting out the demon out of the woman, Arie was walking around the perimeter of the camp when she felt something light on the outside of the camp, a good presence trying to get into the camp but couldn’t. As she began to feel that presence get stronger, Celia and Kenny continued to pray and cast out the demon, when they saw the woman’s facial features begin to change. She began growling and becoming more animal-like. After a few more minutes of prayer the demon left the woman, and she stopped seizing and her facial features returned to normal. It’s now been almost two years, and the woman has not had a seizure since.

Arie’s First Encounter with a Demon

Arie was born with the ability to see, hear, and feel what others may not be able to. From a young age, she was able to see the unseen spiritual realm. Once when she 4 or 5, she was lying in bed, and a spirit entered the room. Its height was about the height of an average man, it was slender, had a long round white/grey face, and had a suit on. As it walked towards her side of the bed, as her older sister Britni was asleep on the other side, it began to speak to her. “I’m your dad. It’s okay, I’m your father. I’m your dad.” Once the adrenaline from fear finally kicked in, Arie screamed for her dad, Kenny, which only made the entity try to convince her more. Once Kenny walked into the room, the entity disappeared. Arie has never seen the entity since, but to this day, she still subconsciously sleeps in the center of the bed out of a subconscious fear of it returning.
