Hell Pt. 2: The Lake of Fire

Hell is a place that we Christians try to avoid. It’s a place of eternal punishment for those who refuse to bow their knee before Christ while in this life. A place described in the Book of Revelation as the Lake of Fire. What does that mean? Why is Hell the Lake of Fire? Join ArieRashelle as she searches through Scripture to answer these questions and more in her video, Hell Pt. 2: The Lake of Fire.

Hell

The Lake of Fire

11 Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done. 13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done. 14 Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. 15 And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

Revelation 20:11-15

42 Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him if a great millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea. 43 And if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than with two hands to go to hell, to the unquenchable fire. 45 And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life lame than with two feet to be thrown into hell. 47 And if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into hell, 48 ‘where their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched.’ 49 For everyone will be salted with fire. 50 Salt is good, but if the salt has lost its saltiness, how will you make it salty again? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with one another.

Hell Pt. 1: The Second Death

Hell is one of two eternal destinations that the Bible tells us about. Hell is called by multiple names, such as The Lake of Fire, Eternal Destruction, and The Second Death. This now begs the question, “Why is Hell called the Second Death?” Join ArieRashelle as she searches through Scripture to find the answer in her video, Hell Pt. 1: The Second Death.

The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son. But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.

Who Is Abaddon? Pt. 3: The Nebuchadnezzar Connection

So far, we’ve come to the conclusion that Abaddon and Lucifer are the same being due to the overwhelming amount of Biblical evidence. We also discussed how Abaddon is the king of Babylon, so shouldn’t he be connected to Nebuchadnezzar in some way? And if he is connected, how are the physical king of Babylon and the physical king of Babylon connected? And are there any correlations between Abaddon and Nebuchadnezzar other than Babylon itself? Who Is Abaddon?

The Nebuchadnezzar Connection

1 And the fifth angel blew his trumpet, and I saw a star fallen from heaven to earth, and he was given the key to the shaft of the bottomless pit. He opened the shaft of the bottomless pit, and from the shaft rose smoke like the smoke of a great furnace, and the sun and the air were darkened with the smoke from the shaft. Then from the smoke came locusts on the earth, and they were given power like the power of scorpions of the earth. They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any green plant or any tree, but only those people who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.
They were allowed to torment them for five months, but not to kill them, and their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it stings someone. And in those days people will seek death and will not find it. They will long to die, but death will flee from them. In appearance the locusts were like horses prepared for battle: on their heads were what looked like crowns of gold; their faces were like human faces, their hair like women’s hair, and their teeth like lions’ teeth; they had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the noise of their wings was like the noise of many chariots with horses rushing into battle. 10 They have tails and stings like scorpions, and their power to hurt people for five months is in their tails. 11 They have as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit. His name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek he is called Apollyon.
12 The first woe has passed; behold, two woes are still to come.

Who Is Abaddon? Pt. 2: The Lucifer Connection

In our previous videos, we explained that Satan and Lucifer aren’t the same beings; they’re two separate beings. While Lucifer and Satan are two separate beings, Lucifer and Abaddon are the same being. As stated in part one, Lucifer was the only being thrown into the Bottomless Pit, and Abaddon is the only being that comes out, then they have to be the same being. But this didn’t seem to convince everyone, so join ArieRashelle as she shows us more connections between the two in her video, Who Is Abaddon? Pt. 2: The Lucifer Connection.

The Lucifer Connection

12 How you are fallen from heaven, O Day Star, son of Dawn! How you are cut down to the ground, you who laid the nations low! 13 You said in your heart, ‘I will ascend to heaven; above the stars of God I will set my throne on high; I will sit on the mount of assembly in the far reaches of the north; 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’ 15 But you are brought down to Sheol, to the far reaches of the pit. 16 Those who see you will stare at you and ponder over you: ‘Is this the man who made the earth tremble, who shook kingdoms, 17 who made the world like a desert and overthrew its cities, who did not let his prisoners go home?’ 18 All the kings of the nations lie in glory, each in his own tomb; 19 but you are cast out, away from your grave, like a loathed branch, clothed with the slain, those pierced by the sword, who go down to the stones of the pit, like a dead body trampled underfoot. 20 You will not be joined with them in burial, because you have destroyed your land, you have slain your people.

The Seven Churches and The Rapture

The rapture and its timing are one of the most debated topics in the Church. There is a belief that the Seven Churches of Revelation hold the answer to end the debate on the timing of the rapture. Many believe the Seven Churches of Revelation prove that the rapture does take place before The Great Tribulation. This belief is known as a Pre-Tribulation Rapture. There are three common beliefs on the rapture in the Church: Pre-Tribulation Rapture, Mid-Tribulation Rapture, and Post-Tribulation Rapture. Join ArieRashelle as she dissects these verses in her video, The Seven Churches and The Rapture.

The Seven Churches of Revelation and The Rapture

The Seven Churches of Revelation 2-3

To the Church in Ephesus

1 “To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: ‘The words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand, who walks among the seven golden lampstands. ‘I know your works, your toil and your patient endurance, and how you cannot bear with those who are evil, but have tested those who call themselves apostles and are not, and found them to be false. I know you are enduring patiently and bearing up for my name’s sake, and you have not grown weary. But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent. Yet this you have: you hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.’

To the Church in Smyrna

And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write: ‘The words of the first and the last, who died and came to life. ‘I know your tribulation and your poverty (but you are rich) and the slander of those who say that they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. 10 Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and for ten days you will have tribulation. Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life. 11 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who conquers will not be hurt by the second death.’

To the Church in Pergamum

12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamum write: ‘The words of him who has the sharp two-edged sword. 13 ‘I know where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is. Yet you hold fast my name, and you did not deny my faith even in the days of Antipas my faithful witness, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells. 14 But I have a few things against you: you have some there who hold the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the sons of Israel, so that they might eat food sacrificed to idols and practice sexual immorality. 15 So also you have some who hold the teaching of the Nicolaitans. 16 Therefore repent. If not, I will come to you soon and war against them with the sword of my mouth. 17 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, with a new name written on the stone that no one knows except the one who receives it.’

To the Church in Thyatira

18 And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write: ‘The words of the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and whose feet are like burnished bronze. 19 ‘I know your works, your love and faith and service and patient endurance, and that your latter works exceed the first. 20 But I have this against you, that you tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and is teaching and seducing my servants to practice sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols. 21 I gave her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of her sexual immorality. 22 Behold, I will throw her onto a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her I will throw into great tribulation, unless they repent of her works, 23 and I will strike her children dead. And all the churches will know that I am he who searches mind and heart, and I will give to each of you according to your works. 24 But to the rest of you in Thyatira, who do not hold this teaching, who have not learned what some call the deep things of Satan, to you I say, I do not lay on you any other burden. 25 Only hold fast what you have until I come. 26 The one who conquers and who keeps my works until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations, 27 and he will rule them with a rod of iron, as when earthen pots are broken in pieces, even as I myself have received authority from my Father. 28 And I will give him the morning star. 29 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’

Revelation 2

To the Church in Sardis

1 And to the angel of the church in Sardis write: ‘The words of him who has the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. ‘I know your works. You have the reputation of being alive, but you are dead. Wake up, and strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your works complete in the sight of my God. Remember, then, what you received and heard. Keep it, and repent. If you will not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come against you. Yet you have still a few names in Sardis, people who have not soiled their garments, and they will walk with me in white, for they are worthy. The one who conquers will be clothed thus in white garments, and I will never blot his name out of the book of life. I will confess his name before my Father and before his angels. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’

To the Church in Philadelphia

And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: ‘The words of the holy one, the true one, who has the key of David, who opens and no one will shut, who shuts and no one opens. ‘I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut. I know that you have but little power, and yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name. Behold, I will make those of the synagogue of Satan who say that they are Jews and are not, but lie—behold, I will make them come and bow down before your feet, and they will learn that I have loved you. 10 Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth. 11 I am coming soon. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown. 12 The one who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God. Never shall he go out of it, and I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down from my God out of heaven, and my own new name. 13 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’

To the Church in Laodicea

14 And to the angel of the church in Laodicea write: ‘The words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of God’s creation. 15 I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! 16 So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. 17 For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked. 18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined by fire, so that you may be rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself and the shame of your nakedness may not be seen, and salve to anoint your eyes, so that you may see. 19 Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. 21 The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on His throne. 22 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’”

Revelation 3

The Seven Churches of Revelation don’t prove a Pre-Tribulation Rapture, instead, the Seven Churches of Revelation prove that the last of the Seven Churches will go through The Great Tribulation (a Post-Tribulation Rapture). It will be after the Great Tribulation that the Church as a whole will be caught up to meet Christ in the air (The Second Coming/The Rapture).

Daniel 7

The Ancient of Days

As I looked, thrones were placed, and the Ancient of Days took His seat; His clothing was white as snow, and the hair of His head like pure wool; His throne was fiery flames; its wheels were burning fire. 10 A stream of fire issued and came out from before Him; a thousand thousands served Him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him; the court sat in judgment, and the books were opened.

Daniel 7:9-10

The Son of Man

13 I saw in the night visions, and behold, with the clouds of heaven there came one like a son of man, and he came to the Ancient of Days and was presented before him. 14 And to him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him; his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom one that shall not be destroyed.

The Four Angels Under The Euphrates River Pt. 1: Who Are They?

There’s a lot of talk recently about the Euphrates River. Many believe that these are current signs of several end times prophecies, but which prophecies in specific? There are several prophecies of angels throughout Scripture. One prophecy, in particular, tells of the release of four ominous angels held at the Euphrates River. Who are these angels? The Four Angels Under The Euphrates River

Who Are They?

13 Then the sixth angel blew his trumpet, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar before God, 14 saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” 15 So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour, the day, the month, and the year, were released to kill a third of mankind. 16 The number of mounted troops was twice ten thousand times ten thousand; I heard their number. 17 And this is how I saw the horses in my vision and those who rode them: they wore breastplates the color of fire and of sapphire and of sulfur, and the heads of the horses were like lions’ heads, and fire and smoke and sulfur came out of their mouths. 18 By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed, by the fire and smoke and sulfur coming out of their mouths. 19 For the power of the horses is in their mouths and in their tails, for their tails are like serpents with heads, and by means of them they wound.
20 The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands nor give up worshiping demons and idols of gold and silver and bronze and stone and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk, 21 nor did they repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.

What Does Sukkot Foreshadow?

Everything that God does and decrees has a meaning. From the 6 days of creation to the 7 seven feasts decreed in The Law, everything that God has set has a purpose. There are seven feasts decreed by God; Sukkot (The Feast of Tabernacles/Booths) is the last feast to be celebrated in the year. If all the feasts have a purpose, what’s the purpose of Sukkot (The Feast of Tabernacles/Booths)? Join Reverend Kenny Yates as he searches through Scripture to find the meaning behind the Feast of Ingathering in his video, What Does Sukkot Foreshadow?

Leviticus 23:39–43
Zechariah 14:16–19

What Does Sukkot Foreshadow?

Sukkot (The Feast of Tabernacles/Booths/Ingathering)

39 On the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the produce of the land, you shall celebrate the feast of the Lord seven days. On the first day shall be a solemn rest, and on the eighth day shall be a solemn rest. 40 And you shall take on the first day the fruit of splendid trees, branches of palm trees and boughs of leafy trees and willows of the brook, and you shall rejoice before the Lord your God seven days. 41 You shall celebrate it as a feast to the Lord for seven days in the year. It is a statute forever throughout your generations; you shall celebrate it in the seventh month.

Leviticus 23:39‭-‬41

During Sukkot, We Look Back To…

Sukkot looks back to the time when the people of Israel had to dwell in booths after the LORD brought them out of Egypt.

42 You shall dwell in booths for seven days. All native Israelites shall dwell in booths, 43 that your generations may know that I made the people of Israel dwell in booths when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.

Leviticus 23:42-43

During Sukkot, We Look Forward To…

Sukkot (the Feast of Ingathering) foreshadows the millennial reign of Christ when we will dwell in temporary homes until the Judgment and the new earth. On the new earth, we will spend eternity with God and He with us.

1 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain. And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be released for a little while.

Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with Him for a thousand years [the Millenial Reign].

Revelation 20:1-6

1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

Revelation 21:1-4

Sukkot foreshadows the Millenial Reign of Christ because, during that time, we will temporarily live on this temporary earth for a thousand years with God. This is also the only feast celebrated during the Millenial Reign of Christ because it is the only feast that hasn’t been fulfilled at that time.

The Lamb’s Book of Life

The Lamb’s Book of Life is the final book read out of at the Last Judgment. The Book of Life has the names of all who will enter into Eternal Life written in it. This now begs several questions, but two of the most important questions are: How do you get your name written in the Lamb’s Book of Life? What happens if your name isn’t written in the Book of Life? Join ArieRashelle as she searches through Scripture to find the answer to these questions and more in her video, The Lamb’s Book of Life.

The Lamb’s Book of Life

When Are The Names Written In It?

All the names have to be written from before the foundation of the world.

8 and all who dwell on earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain.

Revelation 13:8

Is This Predestination?

God says He has given us a choice. He says He even called Heaven and Earth as witnesses to this.

19 I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live,

Deuteronomy 30:19

Therefore, this cannot be predestination. This means that all the names of everyone who will ever be conceived must be written in the Lamb’s Book of Life from before the foundation of the world. This doesn’t mean that everyone will make it into Heaven because the majority of names will be blotted out by the Last (Final) Judgment.

The one who conquers will be clothed thus in white garments, and I will never blot his name out of the book of life. I will confess his name before my Father and before His angels.

Revelation 3:5

13 Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. 14 For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.

Matthew 7:13-14

Names Not Written in the Lamb’s Book of Life

At The Last (Final) Judgment, Jesus will open the Book of Life and check to see who’s names are written in it. All whose names are not written in the Lamb’s Book of Life will spend Eternity in Hell.

The Lesson of The Fig Tree

The Lesson of The Fig Tree

The Key End Time Event

32 From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near. 33 So also, when you see all these things, you know that he is near, at the very gates. 34 Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

Matthew 24:32-35

28 From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its branch becomes tender and puts out its leaves, you know that summer is near. 29 So also, when you see these things taking place, you know that he is near, at the very gates. 30 Truly, I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. 31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

Mark 13:28-31

Jesus states that when the fig tree begins to blossom again, we know that summer is on its way. Summer always represents the Harvest. The full lesson of the fig tree is rooted in what the fig tree symbolizes in the Bible.
