Three Blockers To Spiritual Intimacy

With each generation, it seems like the Church of today gets farther and farther away from the Church we read about in the book of Acts. Why aren’t our prayers being answered? What’s stopping our spiritual growth? Join Reverend Kenny Yates as he opens our eyes to the spiritual battle facing us in his message, Three Blockers to Spiritual Intimacy.

Three Blockers To Spiritual Intimacy

1 Now Peter and John were going up to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. And a man lame from birth was being carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple that is called the Beautiful Gate to ask alms of those entering the temple. Seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, he asked to receive alms. And Peter directed his gaze at him, as did John, and said, “Look at us.” And he fixed his attention on them, expecting to receive something from them. But Peter said, “I have no silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!”

Acts 3:1-6

The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, yet the world did not know Him. 11 He came to His own, and His own people did not receive Him. 12 But to all who did receive Him, who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

John 1:9-13
