Jesus commanded the Church (the body of Christ, His followers) to be the Salt of the Earth. Today, this seems like a very odd command. What good is salt? Many doctors and influencers today tell us that salt is bad for us. So, why should we, the Church, be the Salt of the Earth? What does that mean for us? Join Reverend Kenny Yates as he opens our eyes to the true purpose of the Church in his message, Show Me The Way Pt. 1: Fertilize and Disinfect.

Fertilize and Disinfect
13 You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet.
Matthew 5:13
1 In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, 2 “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” 3 For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah when he said, “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord; make his paths straight.’” 4 Now John wore a garment of camel’s hair and a leather belt around his waist, and his food was locusts and wild honey. 5 Then Jerusalem and all Judea and all the region about the Jordan were going out to him, 6 and they were baptized by him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins.
Matthew 3:1-6
34 Salt is good, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored?
Luke 14:34
19 If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
John 15:19
