The Great Tribulation: Does The Church Go Through It?

From the days of Paul, men and women were looking forward to the rapture. Some even thought that they had missed it during the time of Paul and the other apostles. As time goes by, the world runs farther and farther away from God and His ways. We often hear that Tribulation is coming, but when exactly? Paul prophecies of the way the world will turn during the end times in his second letter to Timothy.

¹ But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. ² For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, ³ heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, ⁴ treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, ⁵ having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.
