Within the Bible, there are accounts of several different types of supernatural, spiritual beings, such as the Cherub, the Seraph, the Serpent, etc. Ezekiel goes into detail describing the beings he called a Cherub. So far, we’ve gone into detail explaining the meanings behind the Cherubim’s faces of a man, eagle, and ox, as well as their straight legs and calf-like soles of their bronze feet. But what does the Cherubim’s face of a lion mean? What do lions represent in the Bible? What are the Cherubim’s four wings for? Join ArieRashelle as she searches through Scripture to find the answers in our fourth part, The Face of a Lion and Their Four Wings, of our miniseries What are the Cherubim?
What Are The Cherubim? Pt. 4 Summary
The Cherubim’s Face of a Lion and Their Wings
8 Under their wings on their four sides they had human hands. And the four had their faces and their wings thus: 9 their wings touched one another. Each one of them went straight forward, without turning as they went. 10 As for the likeness of their faces, each had a human face. The four had the face of a lion on the right side, the four had the face of an ox on the left side, and the four had the face of an eagle.
Ezekiel 1:8-10
The Cherubim’s Face of a Lion
The Cherubim had the face of a lion because lion’s represent authority. Jesus told Peter that the Devil demanded to have him. Unless the Devil had some form of authority, he couldn’t demand to have Peter and then Peter given over to him to the point where Jesus says I prayed for you.
31 Simon, Simon, behold, Satan demanded to have you, that he might sift you like wheat, 32 but I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned again, strengthen your brothers.
Luke 22:31-32
After this Peter then describes Satan as a prowling lion seeking someone to devour because lions represent authority, just like the Cherubim’s face.
8 Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 9 Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world.
1 Peter 5:8-9
Satan is portrayed as a roaring lion when he is demanding someone. Lions represent authority because they are a symbol of authority. This is the same idea with the Cherubim. The Cherubim have the face of a lion because they have authority.
The Cherubim’s Wings
11 Such were their faces. And their wings were spread out above. Each creature had two wings, each of which touched the wing of another, while two covered their bodies.
Ezekiel 1:11
The Cherubim cover their bodies with two of their wings because they are like burning coals and torches with the glory of God. Two of their wings hold up the throne of God in glory and praise, this is why God rides on the wings of a cherub in the Psalms.
1 Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph like a flock. You who are enthroned upon the cherubim, shine forth.
Psalms 80:1
2 And David arose and went with all the people who were with him from Baale-judah to bring up from there the ark of God, which is called by the name of the Lord of hosts who sits enthroned on the cherubim.
As we discussed in our two previous videos, the Cherubim are terrifying creatures with four faces and four wings. They have the face of a man, eagle, ox, and lion. They also have the likeness of man due to their connection with man. Not only do they have the likeness and face of man, but the Cherubim also have human hands. Their feet are like burnished bronze. But what does that mean? Why do the Cherubim have human hands and bronze feet? What does bronze represent in the Bible? Join ArieRashelle as she searches through Scripture to explain the Cherubim’s hands and feet in part three of our What Are the Cherubim? series.
What Are The Cherubim? Pt. 3 Summary
The Cherubim’s Hands and Feet
7 Their legs were straight, and the soles of their feet were like the sole of a calf’s foot. And they sparkled like burnished bronze. 8 Under their wings on their four sides they had human hands. And the four had their faces and their wings thus:
Ezekiel 1:7-8
The Cherubim’s Legs
The Cherubim’s legs were straight, so that no one direction dominated. This is important because they had to be able to move in all for directions without turning.
9 their wings touched one another. Each one of them went straight forward, without turning as they went.
Ezekiel 1:9
If the Cherubim’s legs had knees that bent as we do, they wouldn’t be able to go in all four directions without turning. They would then also have one dominant side, and therefore all four sides could not be equal. This is important because each side of the Cherubim makes up an important piece of who they are. No one side is more important or dominant than the other, or when they went forward with the less dominant side, they would be at a disadvantage. This is why the Cherubim’s legs go straight forward; they need to go in any of the four directions without turning.
The Cherubim’s Bronze Feet
The Cherubim’s feet shone like burnished bronze because bronze is symbolic of the common man receiving healing, Salvation, redemption, etc. It wasn’t like gold, just for specific people, it was for everyone.
Examples of Bronze in the Bible
The Bronze Fiery Serpent in the Wilderness
4 From Mount Hor they set out by the way to the Red Sea, to go around the land of Edom. And the people became impatient on the way. 5 And the people spoke against God and against Moses, “Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and we loathe this worthless food.” 6 Then the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people, so that many people of Israel died. 7 And the people came to Moses and said, “We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord and against you. Pray to the Lord, that he take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people. 8 And the Lord said to Moses, “Make a fiery serpent and set it on a pole, and everyone who is bitten, when he sees it, shall live.” 9 So Moses made a bronze serpent and set it on a pole. And if a serpent bit anyone, he would look at the bronze serpent and live.
Numbers 21:4-9
The Bronze Altar in the Tent of Meeting
29 The bronze that was offered was seventy talents and 2,400 shekels; 30 with it he made the bases for the entrance of the tent of meeting, the bronze altar and the bronze grating for it and all the utensils of the altar, 31 the bases around the court, and the bases of the gate of the court, all the pegs of the tabernacle, and all the pegs around the court.
Exodus 38:29-31
1 The Lord called Moses and spoke to him from the tent of meeting, saying, 2 “Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, When any one of you brings an offering to the Lord, you shall bring your offering of livestock from the herd or from the flock. 3 If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer a male without blemish. He shall bring it to the entrance of the tent of meeting, that he may be accepted before the Lord.”
Leviticus 1:1-3
Summary of the Bronze feet
In the Bible, one of the uses of bronze was to represent that it was for everyone, not just one kind of person. It was for anyone willing to receive. Anyone willing to accept and be healed. Anyone willing to accept Salvation and be saved, delivered, and redeemed. So, the Bible records the Cherubim’s feet as bronze because they are angels, ministering spirits, bringing Salvation, redemption, and healing to all people willing to receive it by grace through faith in Jesus Christ our LORD and Savior. The Cherubim’s hands and feet are connected in the way that they both are representations of healing, redemption, and receiving Salvation.
The Cherubim’s Human Hands
The Cherubim have human hands because they can bestow the Spirit of God and the gifts of God upon those whom they lay hands on, as all angels, both spiritual beings and human beings, can.
17 Then they laid their hands on them and they received the Holy Spirit.
Acts 8:17
14 Do not neglect the gift you have, which was given you by prophecy when the council of elders laid their hands on you.
1 Timothy 4:14
5 I am reminded of your sincere faith, a faith that dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am sure, dwells in you as well. 6 For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands, 7 for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
The Cherubim have the face of man, the face of a lion, the face of an ox, and the face of an eagle. We established in part one that the face of man and their likeness of man represented their connection to man. So, does the Cherubim’s face of an eagle and an ox represent their connection to those animals? What does it mean to have the face of an eagle and ox? Join ArieRashelle as she searches through Scripture to find the answer in part two, The Face of an Eagle and an Ox, in our series, What are the Cherubim?
10 As for the likeness of their faces, each had a human face. The four had the face of a lion on the right side, the four had the face of an ox on the left side, and the four had the face of an eagle.
Ezekiel 1:10
The Cherubim’s Face of an Eagle
Eagles are associated with the presence of God. Eagles’ wings in particular are associated with the right and path to enter into the presence of the LORD.
4 You yourselves have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself.
Exodus 19:4
10 He found him in a desert land, and in the howling waste of the wilderness; He encircled him, He cared for him, He kept him as the apple of His eye. 11 Like an eagle that stirs up its nest, that flutters over its young, spreading out its wings, catching them, bearing them on its pinions, 12 the Lord alone guided him, no foreign god was with him.
Deuteronomy 32:10–12
The Cherubim’s face of an eagle represents its connection and relationship with God. The Cherubim can enter into the presence and glory of God.
The Cherubim’s Face of an Ox
In the Bible, the ox is associated with winning souls for Christ.
17 Let the elders who rule well be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in preaching and teaching. 18 For the Scripture says, “You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain,” and, “The laborer deserves his wages.”
1 Timothy 5:17-18
9 For it is written in the Law of Moses, “You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain.” Is it for oxen that God is concerned? 10 Does he not certainly speak for our sake? It was written for our sake, because the plowman should plow in hope and the thresher thresh in hope of sharing in the crop.
1 Corinthians 9:9-10
The Cherubim’s face of the ox represents their job description as angels because they are ministering spirits.
Whenever we see Cherubim, we see them depicted as cute chubby little babies with wings. Often times we see them with a cute little bow and arrow ready to spread love, like Cupid. But is that what Cherubim look like? Aren’t the Cherubim cute, chubby little babies with wings? How does the Bible describe Cherubim? Does the Bible even describe Cherubim? Why did the Bible say that one of the Cherubim’s faces was man? Join ArieRashelle as she searches through Scripture to find the answer to these questions in our video, What are the Cherubim? Pt. 1: The Face of Man.
5 And from the midst of it came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance: they had a human likeness, 6 but each had four faces, and each of them had four wings.
Ezekiel 1:5-6
10 As for the likeness of their faces, each had a human face. The four had the face of a lion on the right side, the four had the face of an ox on the left side, and the four had the face of an eagle.
Ezekiel 1:10
The four faces of the Cherubim are the face of man, lion, ox, and eagle. The Cherubim’s face of man represents their connection to humanity. This is the same word used when describing the creation of man.
26 Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
Genesis 1:26
This is why they are described as having the likeness of man. They are connected to man.
Satan and Lucifer have to be two of the most talked about entities of the Bible. But Satan is our main enemy. We even refer to him as the king of the Kingdom of Darkness. So does that mean that Satan is stronger than Lucifer? Join ArieRashelle as she searches through Scripture to find the answer to that question in our video, Is Satan Stronger Than Lucifer?

Is Satan Stronger Than Lucifer?
Satan and Lucifer
Satan and Lucifer are two different beings. Everything about Lucifer and Satan is different, including what type of being they are. Satan is a Beast of the Field, while Lucifer is a star-like celestial being.
Satan
1bNow the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the Lord God had made.
Genesis 3:1b
7 Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back, 8 but he was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. 9 And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.

Lucifer
12 How you are fallen from heaven, O Day Star (Lucifer), son of Dawn! How you are cut down to the ground, you who laid the nations low! 13 You said in your heart, ‘I will ascend to heaven; above the stars of God I will set my throne on high; I will sit on the mount of assembly in the far reaches of the north; 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’ 15 But you are brought down to Sheol, to the far reaches of the pit.
Lucifer is stronger than Satan for many reasons, but one main reason. Lucifer is an angel, while Satan is a Glorious One. Angels are stronger than the Glorious Ones because they have to fight off territorial spirits in order to bring messages between the realms.
10 and especially those who indulge in the lust of defiling passion and despise authority. Bold and willful, they do not tremble as they blaspheme the glorious ones, 11 whereas angels, though greater in might and power, do not pronounce a blasphemous judgment against them before the Lord.
Like most Christians, when I was a child, I imagined that the Serpent in the Garden was a literal snake that once had four legs but was then cursed to slither on its stomach for the rest of its life. After much research, we found that that wasn’t quite Biblical. In our video, The Beast of the Field, we explained that the Serpent in the Garden of Eden was actually a dragon. Not only that, but it was actually Satan himself. So, if the Serpent wasn’t a snake that lost its legs, what was Satan’s curse for tempting the woman with the Forbidden Fruit? Join ArieRashelle in our video, What Was the Serpent’s Curse in the Garden?, as she searches through Scripture to find the answer.
14 The Lord God said to the serpent [Satan], “Because you have done this, cursed are you above all livestock and above all beasts of the field; on your belly you shall go, and dust you shall eat all the days of your life. 15 I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.”
Genesis 3:14-15
How to Satan
11 And they have conquered him [Satan] by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.
Revelation 12:11
1 I love you, O Lord, my strength. 2 The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. 3 I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.
Psalms 18:1-3
Summary
Satan’s curse in the Garden of Eden was that he would have enmity between him and all of mankind above any animal or beasts of the field. He would also always go on his belly because his ways would always be detestable. And finally, he would eat the dust of the earth all of his days, because he would always be humbled by the Children of God because Christ finished it all on the cross.
Whenever we talk about angels, we think about a special race of celestial beings flying around in Heaven as they play harps and sing. We depict angels as human-looking beings with beautiful flowing hair, and usually, we depict them as women. But is this true? Are angels a race of celestial beings, or is there more to the story? Join ArieRashelle as she searches through Scripture to find what the Bible says about angels in our video, ‘What Are Angels?’
Angel really only means messenger. This is why Jesus is referred to as the Angel of The LORD, as well as Gabriel, Michael, John the Baptist, and all priests.

Gabriel
15 When I, Daniel, had seen the vision, I sought to understand it. And behold, there stood before me one having the appearance of a man. 16 And I heard a man’s voice between the banks of the Ulai, and it called, “Gabriel, make this man understand the vision.” 17 So he came near where I stood. And when he came, I was frightened and fell on my face. But he said to me, “Understand, O son of man, that the vision is for the time of the end.”
Daniel 8:15-17
18 And Zechariah said to the angel, “How shall I know this? For I am an old man, and my wife is advanced in years.” 19 And the angel answered him, “I am Gabriel. I stand in the presence of God, and I was sent to speak to you and to bring you this good news. 20 And behold, you will be silent and unable to speak until the day that these things take place, because you did not believe my words, which will be fulfilled in their time.”
Luke 1:18-20
Michael
12 Then he said to me, “Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand and humbled yourself before your God, your words have been heard, and I have come because of your words. 13 The prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days, but Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I was left there with the kings of Persia, 14 and came to make you understand what is to happen to your people in the latter days. For the vision is for days yet to come.”
Daniel 10:12-14
8 Yet in like manner these people also, relying on their dreams, defile the flesh, reject authority, and blaspheme the glorious ones. 9 But when the archangel Michael, contending with the devil, was disputing about the body of Moses, he did not presume to pronounce a blasphemous judgment, but said, “The Lord rebuke you.” 10 But these people blaspheme all that they do not understand, and they are destroyed by all that they, like unreasoning animals, understand instinctively.
Jude 1:8-10
Abaddon/Apollyon
11 They have as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit. His name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek he is called Apollyon.

John The Baptist
7 As they went away, Jesus began to speak to the crowds concerning John: “What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind? 8 What then did you go out to see? A man dressed in soft clothing? Behold, those who wear soft clothing are in kings’ houses. 9 What then did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet. 10 This is he of whom it is written, ‘Behold, I send my messenger before your face, who will prepare your way before you.’”
Matthew 11:7-10
Paul
13 You know it was because of a bodily ailment that I preached the gospel to you at first, 14 and though my condition was a trial to you, you did not scorn or despise me, but received me as an angel of God, as Christ Jesus.
Galatians 4:13-14

1 The two angels came to Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gate of Sodom. When Lot saw them, he rose to meet them and bowed himself with his face to the earth 2 and said, “My lords, please turn aside to your servant’s house and spend the night and wash your feet. Then you may rise up early and go on your way.” They said, “No; we will spend the night in the town square.” 3 But he pressed them strongly; so they turned aside to him and entered his house. And he made them a feast and baked unleavened bread, and they ate.
Genesis 19:1-3
49 He let loose on them his burning anger, wrath, indignation, and distress, a company of destroying angels.
Psalms 78:49
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Matthew 24:29-31
8 And I tell you, everyone who acknowledges me before men, the Son of Man also will acknowledge before the angels of God, 9 but the one who denies me before men will be denied before the angels of God.
Luke 12:8-9

22 So Joshua sent messengers, and they ran to the tent; and behold, it was hidden in his tent with the silver underneath. 23 And they took them out of the tent and brought them to Joshua and to all the people of Israel. And they laid them down before the Lord.
Joshua 7:22-23
24 Gideon sent messengers throughout all the hill country of Ephraim, saying, “Come down against the Midianites and capture the waters against them, as far as Beth-barah, and also the Jordan.” So all the men of Ephraim were called out, and they captured the waters as far as Beth-barah, and also the Jordan.
Judges 7:24
7 For the lips of a priest should guard knowledge, and people should seek instruction from his mouth, for he is the messenger of the Lord of hosts. 8 But you have turned aside from the way. You have caused many to stumble by your instruction. You have corrupted the covenant of Levi, says the Lord of hosts, 9 and so I make you despised and abased before all the people, inasmuch as you do not keep my ways but show partiality in your instruction.
Malachi 2:7-9
22 And they said, “Cornelius, a centurion, an upright and God-fearing man, who is well spoken of by the whole Jewish nation, was directed by a holy angel to send for you to come to his house and to hear what you have to say.”
Acts 10:22
24 You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone. 25 And in the same way was not also Rahab the prostitute justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out by another way? 26 For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also faith apart from works is dead.
We are each in a Spiritual war. There are demons, evil spirits, and unclean spirits constantly trying to corrupt us. 12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt that night, and I will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and on all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments: I am the Lord.
Exodus 12:12
1 God has taken His place in the divine council; in the midst of the gods he holds judgment: 2 “How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? Selah 3 Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. 4 Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.” 5 They have neither knowledge nor understanding, they walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken. 6 I said, “You are gods, sons of the Most High, all of you; 7 nevertheless, like men you shall die, and fall like any prince.” 8 Arise, O God, judge the earth; for you shall inherit all the nations!
Psalms 82
Citizens of Heaven No Longer Under Territorial Spirits
19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the cornerstone, 21 in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. 22 In Him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.
Ephesians 2:19-22
22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable angels in festal gathering, 23 and to the assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, 24 and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.
Hebrews 12:22–24
Summary
There is a Spiritual War for our souls going on right now. We don’t just have demons, evil spirits, unclean spirits, etc., surrounding us always. But, we also have Territorial Spirits that rule over the twelve regions of the earth. They have authority over those regions, which is one of the reasons God tells us we need to be born again so that our citizenship is in Heaven.
Because our citizenship is now in Heaven, those Territorial Spirits have no claim over us. We can overcome anything that comes in our way. Mountains are brought low before us, and seas are parted so that we may fulfill our call and live our lives for our LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ. Because of this, evil spirits, demons, unclean spirits, and all other beings cannot overcome us in this Spiritual War that we are fighting, for our soul belongs to God.
Movies like The Conjuring, Annabelle, Chucky, Dead Silence, Poltergeist have become beloved favorites of Horror Movie lovers. These demon-possessed creepy dolls and inanimate objects (like the box in The Conjuring) send shiver’s down the spines of viewers, satisfying a craving for a good adrenaline rush. These movies alone, have inspired several sequels and spin-offs, bringing in revenue of over a billion dollars.
After watching these Horror Movies, like Annabelle, Chucky, and The Conjuring, the majority of people calm their fears and anxieties by telling themselves that demon-possessed dolls are not real. But is this true? Or are demon-possessed dolls real?
As Christians, our first and foremost source of beliefs should come directly from The Word of God. This now begs the question, “What does The Bible say about demon-possessed dolls or inanimate objects?” Join ArieRashelle as she searches through the Scripture to find the answer to this question.
True Stories of Demon-Possessed Dolls and Inanimate Objects
Demon-Possessed Dolls: Annabelle
Annabelle is arguably the most infamous of the [true story] demon-possessed dolls. Contrary to the creepy doll used in the movie, the actual Annabelle doll was a Raggedy Ann Doll given as a birthday gift for a 28-year-old nursing student by her mother in 1970. What started as the doll seeming to simply shift positions by itself, quickly turned into the doll physically moving to random places throughout the home that she shared with her two room-mates. She would even find Annabelle on the bed of her closed bedroom when she left it on the couch.
Apparently, strange messages were left around the apartment after Annabelle was brought home, according to the different accounts of those in the home. All the notes were hand-written (in what seemed like a child’s handwriting) on parchment paper that didn’t belong to anyone in the home, and all seemed to be cries for help. Written on the notes were things like “Help Us.”
Their Reaction
The roommates went to a Medium after the doll was found on the owner’s bed with what looked like blood on her chest and the back of her hand. The Medium revealed to the roommates that a seven-year-old’s spirit was in the doll’s body. After finding this out, the spirit said that it felt comforted and safe around them and asked if it could stay. Moved by the spirits story and seemingly innocent connection to them, they agreed to allow the spirit it could stay.
Annabelle apparently attacked one of the roommates in two instances. Once, the roommate woke up to find Annabelle at his feet, and then she began to choke him. The very next day, the man was home alone and heard odd noises coming from the bedroom. So, he went to investigate but found no one in the room except for the Annabelle doll. He then proceeded to search for any sign of forced entry but found nothing. As he went to inspect the doll, he got the chilling feeling that someone was behind him. Spinning around, he saw no one there. Then suddenly, he found himself grabbing for his chest and doubled over in pain. He had been cut by an unseen entity and he was now bleeding.
Where Is Annabelle Now?
Annabelle has since been removed from the home, and now resides in a custom-made glass case, spiritually bound by a Catholic Priest’s binding prayer, in the Warren Occult Museum in Monroe, Connecticut. The doll has since seemed to stop moving around and has chosen to stay put, as the owners did not cast the demonic entity out of the doll. Because the demon was not cast out of the doll, Ed and Lorraine Warren have forbidden anyone from ever opening the glass case or touching the doll.
Demon-Possessed Dolls: Robert
The grandfather of Robert Eugene Otto bought his grandson, Robert (nicknamed Gene), a doll for his birthday from Germany in 1904. The Robert the Doll is a one-of-a-kind, handmade doll, seeming to be made in the likeness of his original owner, by the Steiff Company of Germany in 1904.
Gene would wake up in the middle of the night, screaming as a crash was heard. When his parents entered, it was always the same response, “Robert did it. It was Robert.” Gene reportedly blamed any misbehavior on Robert the Doll. It’s even reported that when Gene would speak to Robert, Robert would respond. Throughout the home, maniacal giggles could be heard coming from the doll.
Gene died in 1974, and his home, with Robert still there, was sold. These new owners reportedly heard footsteps coming from the attic room above them where Robert resided. Once, it’s reported that a plumber heard giggling behind him. When he turned, he found Robert had moved across the room on his own.

Malcolm Ross visited Robert and said:
“It was like a metal bar running down my back. At first, when we walked through the door, the look on his face was like a little boy being punished. It was as if he was asking himself, ‘Who are these people in my room and what are they going to do to me?’
When Malcolm Ross was told Robert’s back-story and the children’s furniture was pointed out to him, Malcolm noticed a change in the doll’s expression as if he was following the conversation. Robert’s expression changed once again when one of the men with there made a comment that Gene Otto must have been an old fool. Robert’s expression was now one of disdain.
“There was some kind of intelligence there. The doll was listening to us.”
The idea for someone or something to move from one place to another in a blink of an eye has been an idea from ancient times. Whether by beam or simply disappearing and reappearing in another place, the idea of teleportation isn’t new. If other ancient religions believed in teleportation, did the Jews? And if they did, does that mean the Bible supports teleportation as well? Join ArieRashelle as we search through Scripture to find any basis for the science-fiction notion of teleportation in our video, Does The Bible Support Teleportation?

Does The Bible Support Teleportation?
Stories of Teleportation in the Bible
Enoch
21 When Enoch had lived 65 years, he fathered Methuselah. 22 Enoch walked with God after he fathered Methuselah 300 years and had other sons and daughters. 23 Thus all the days of Enoch were 365 years. 24 Enoch walked with God, and he was not, for God took him.
Genesis 5:21-24
5 By faith Enoch was taken up so that he should not see death, and he was not found, because God had taken him. Now before he was taken he was commended as having pleased God.
Hebrews 11:5
Korah
31 And as soon as he had finished speaking all these words, the ground under them split apart. 32 And the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, with their households and all the people who belonged to Korah and all their goods. 33 So they and all that belonged to them went down alive into Sheol, and the earth closed over them, and they perished from the midst of the assembly.
Deuteronomy 16:31-33
How could they fall from the surface of the earth to the center of the earth into Sheol without dying? This has to be some form of portal, as that distance would have killed them and smashed all of their goods. I’d say that this is the Bible in support of teleportation.
Elijah
11 And as they still went on and talked, behold, chariots of fire and horses of fire separated the two of them. And Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.12 And Elisha saw it and he cried, ‘My father, my father! The chariots of Israel and its horsemen!’ And he saw him no more.
2 Kings 2:11-12
Ezekiel
12 Then the Spirit lifted me up, and I heard behind me the voice of a great earthquake: ‘Blessed be the glory of the Lord from its place!’ 13 It was the sound of the wings of the living creatures as they touched one another, and the sound of the wheels beside them, and the sound of a great earthquake. 14 The Spirit lifted me up and took me away, and I went in bitterness in the heat of my spirit, the hand of the Lord being strong upon me. 15 And I came to the exiles at Tel-abib, who were dwelling by the Chebar canal, and I sat where they were dwelling. And I sat there overwhelmed among them seven days.
Ezekiel 3:12-15
1 In the sixth year, in the sixth month, on the fifth day of the month, as I sat in my house, with the elders of Judah sitting before me, the hand of the Lord God fell upon me there. 2 Then I looked, and behold, a form that had the appearance of a man. Below what appeared to be His waist was fire, and above His waist was something like the appearance of brightness, like gleaming metal. 3 He put out the form of a hand and took me by a lock of my head, and the Spirit lifted me up between earth and heaven and brought me in visions of God to Jerusalem, to the entrance of the gateway of the inner court that faces north, where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provokes to jealousy. 4 And behold, the glory of the God of Israel was there, like the vision that I saw in the valley.
Ezekiel 8:1-4
1 The Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the east gate of the house of the Lord, which faces east. And behold, at the entrance of the gateway there were twenty-five men. And I saw among them Jaazaniah the son of Azzur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people. 2 And He said to me, ‘Son of man, these are the men who devise iniquity and who give wicked counsel in this city; 3 who say, ‘The time is not near to build houses. This city is the cauldron, and we are the meat.’ 4 Therefore prophesy against them; prophesy, O son of man.’
Ezekiel 11:1-4
24 And the Spirit lifted me up and brought me in the vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to the exiles. Then the vision that I had seen went up from me. 25 And I told the exiles all the things that the Lord had shown me.
Ezekiel 11:24-25
1The hand of the Lord was upon me, and he brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord and set me down in the middle of the valley; it was full of bones.2 And he led me around among them, and behold, there were very many on the surface of the valley, and behold, they were very dry.
Ezekiel 37:1-2
1 In the twenty-fifth year of our exile, at the beginning of the year, on the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city was struck down, on that very day, the hand of the Lord was upon me, and he brought me to the city. 2 In visions of God He brought me to the land of Israel, and set me down on a very high mountain, on which was a structure like a city to the south.3 When He brought me there, behold, there was a man whose appearance was like bronze, with a linen cord and a measuring reed in his hand. And he was standing in the gateway. 4 And the man said to me, ‘Son of man, look with your eyes, and hear with your ears, and set your heart upon all that I shall show you, for you were brought here in order that I might show it to you. Declare all that you see to the house of Israel.’
Ezekiel 40:1-4
1 Then He led me to the gate, the gate facing east. 2 And behold, the glory of the God of Israel was coming from the east. And the sound of His coming was like the sound of many waters, and the earth shone with his glory. 3 And the vision I saw was just like the vision that I had seen when He came to destroy the city, and just like the vision that I had seen by the Chebar canal. And I fell on my face. 4 As the glory of the Lord entered the temple by the gate facing east, 5 the Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court; and behold, the glory of the Lord filled the temple.
Ezekiel 43:1-5
Jesus
Not only does the Bible say that Jesus was teleported into heaven in the ascension, but Jesus teleports multiple times throughout the Gospels. Would this not be the Bible in support of teleportation?
5 She gave birth to a male child, one who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron, but her child was caught up to God and to His throne,6 and the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, in which she is to be nourished for 1,260 days.
Revelation 12:4-5
1 Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. 2 And after fasting forty days and forty nights, He was hungry. 3 And the tempter came and said to Him, ‘If You are the Son of God, command these stones to become loaves of bread.’ 4 But He answered, ‘It is written,“‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”5 Then the devil took Him to the holy city and set Him on the pinnacle of the temple6 and said to Him, ‘If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written,“‘He will command His angels concerning you,’ and“‘On their hands they will bear you up,lest you strike your foot against a stone.’”7 Jesus said to him, ‘Again it is written, ‘You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.’’ 8 Again, the devil took Him to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 And he said to Him, “All these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me.” 10 Then Jesus said to him, “Be gone, Satan! For it is written,“‘You shall worship the Lord your Godand Him only shall you serve.’”11 Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and were ministering to Him.”
Matthew 4:1-11
19 So then the Lord Jesus, after He had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.
Mark 16:19
Philip
38 And he commanded the chariot to stop, and they both went down into the water, Philip and the eunuch, and he baptized him. 39 And when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord carried Philip away, and the eunuch saw him no more, and went on his way rejoicing. 40 But Philip found himself at Azotus, and as he passed through he preached the gospel to all the towns until he came to Caesarea.
Acts 8:38-40
John
1 After this I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven! And the first voice, which I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet, said, ‘Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.’ 2 At once I was in the Spirit, and behold, a throne stood in heaven, with one seated on the throne.
Revelation 4:1-2
The Rapture
30 Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Matthew 24:30-31
16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.
