This belief that Jesus is God is the very reason He was crucified and His followers attacked and persecuted. 2,000 years later, the divinity of the LORD Jesus Christ is still being questioned, debated, and discussed not just in the world but the Church. Who Raised Jesus From The Dead?

Is Jesus The Beginning of God’s Creation?

The Account of The Creation Story

¹ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ²He was in the beginning with God. ³All things were made through Him, and without Him was not any thing made that was made. ⁴In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. ⁵The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

⁶There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. ⁷He came as a witness, to bear witness about the light, that all might believe through him. ⁸He was not the light, but came to bear witness about the light.

⁹The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. ¹⁰He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, yet the world did not know Him. ¹¹He came to his own, and his own people did not receive Him. ¹²But to all who did receive Him, who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God, ¹³who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

Jesus is the Word of God. He’s the Word that created all of creation. Therefore, Jesus created all things, so then how could Jesus be created? The answer is Jesus wasn’t created. Jesus is God and the second member of the Trinity.

The Power of Jesus

It is only through Jesus, the Son of God, that we can be saved. It’s only in Him that there is Salvation for both the Jew and the Gentile. It’s only in His name that we can ask the Father and the Father answers us. It’s all only through Jesus Christ, the Messiah.

Why Do I Need Jesus?

⁶Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

If we could save ourselves, Jesus wouldn’t have needed to die 2,000 years ago, but because we can’t save ourselves, Jesus came to save us.

Where Does Salvation Come From?

¹ My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. ²He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.

How Do You Get Salvation?

Immanuel: God With Us

The Prophecy of Immanuel

¹⁴Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call His name Immanuel.

Isaiah 7:14

²⁰But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. ²¹She will bear a son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.” ²²All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet: ²³“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call His name Immanuel” (which means, God with us).

The Fulfillment of Immanuel

Immanuel means God with us. God has finally come to dwell with man forever and He will one day physically dwell on earth with His people.

¹⁶And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, ¹⁷even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. You know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.

Destroy Strongholds

“³For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. ⁴For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds.” ~ 2 Corinthians 10:3-4

Pride. Compulsive Lies. Addictions. Greed. Gluttony. Religiosity. Sexual Fetishes. Homosexuality. Trans-Gender/Species. Everything that stops you from fulfilling your calling and living your life one hundred percent to the fullest is a stronghold. You can’t enjoy the blessing of God when you are chained down by strongholds. We often make the excuse that we can’t change. That we were born this way. Or that it’s too hard. But if we look to scripture, God has given us everything we need to successfully break down and destroy strongholds.

God didn’t leave us defenseless. He didn’t leave us weak and unprotected. God gave us His scripture, His Spirit, His Peace, and so much more. We don’t have to live hurt, confused, discouraged. That was never His plan. That was never His desire. God created each and every one of us in His image. Sometimes it takes the miraculous to see that. Do you believe in the miraculous? The miracle you need may not have been recorded in the Scriptures, but I guarantee it is possible. Jesus said that we would do greater things than even He did, “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do because I am going to the Father,” John 14:12.

So if Jesus could raise the dead, walk on water, rescue captives out of the center of the Earth, heal the sick, cast out demons, make the blind see, and the deaf hear; what could you do? Don’t allow culture or religious traditions hold you back. God Himself promised you these things; don’t take the word of man over the Word of God. Believe. Have faith, and you will see the miraculous happen.

Names have weight. They are important. Jesus has a name so powerful, that He alone knows it.
