The Triumphal Entry

Every year we celebrate Palm Sunday. It’s one of our most sacred days in the Church. But do we understand the true importance of this day? 2000 years ago, our King came riding into Jerusalem on a donkey in what we refer to as The Triumphal Entry. Join Reverend Kenny Yates as he opens our eyes to a deeper meaning behind the Triumphal Entry in his Palm Sunday message, The Triumphal Entry.

Jesus The Messiah Pt. 2: Jesus, Our Blessed Hope

Each and every generation gets one step closer to the return of Christ Jesus. And with each generation, the return of Christ seems to be seen differently. Why is that? Is there more to the return of Christ than we originally thought? Join Reverend Kenny Yates as he opens our eyes to a deeper meaning of Jesus, our blessed hope, in his message, Jesus The Messiah Pt. 2: Jesus, Our Blessed Hope.

Jesus The Messiah

Jesus, Our Blessed Hope

18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, 19 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.

Luke 4:18-19

11 Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems, and He has a name written that no one knows but Himself. 13 He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God. 14 And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, were following Him on white horses. 15 From His mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty. 16 On His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords.

Revelation 19:11-16

Denying Christ With Actions

So often, we think of denying Christ as a verbal thing, such as Peter did when Christ was being accused before the High Priest. We rarely ever consider our actions as a way to deny Christ. Why is that? Is it because if we confess with our mouths and believe in our hearts that we obtain salvation, so therefore, the only way to give it up is to do the very opposite of it? To deny with our lips and refuse to believe in our hearts? Join Reverend Kenny Yates as he opens our eyes to how many of us have denied Christ without even realizing it in his sobering message, Denying Christ With Actions.

How Do You Deny Christ?

Denying Christ With Actions

16 They profess to know God, but they deny Him by their works.
They are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good work.

Titus 1:16

Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving. See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ. For in Him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, 10 and you have been filled in Him, who is the head of all rule and authority. 11 In Him also you were circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, 12 having been buried with Him in baptism, in which you were also raised with Him through faith in the powerful working of God, who raised Him from the dead.

Lessons From Pharaoh and Joseph

The Return of The Signet Ring

32 And the doubling of Pharaoh’s dream means that the thing is fixed by God, and God will shortly bring it about. 33 Now therefore let Pharaoh select a discerning and wise man, and set him over the land of Egypt. 34 Let Pharaoh proceed to appoint overseers over the land and take one-fifth of the produce of the land of Egypt during the seven plentiful years. 35 And let them gather all the food of these good years that are coming and store up grain under the authority of Pharaoh for food in the cities, and let them keep it. 36 That food shall be a reserve for the land against the seven years of famine that are to occur in the land of Egypt, so that the land may not perish through the famine.”

Genesis 41:32-36

37 This proposal pleased Pharaoh and all his servants. 38 And Pharaoh said to his servants, “Can we find a man like this, in whom is the Spirit of God?” 39 Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Since God has shown you all this, there is none so discerning and wise as you are. 40 You shall be over my house, and all my people shall order themselves as you command. Only as regards the throne will I be greater than you.” 41 And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.” 42 Then Pharaoh took his signet ring from his hand and put it on Joseph’s hand, and clothed him in garments of fine linen and put a gold chain about his neck. 43 And he made him ride in his second chariot. And they called out before him, “Bow the knee!” Thus he set him over all the land of Egypt. 44 Moreover, Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I am Pharaoh, and without your consent no one shall lift up hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.”

Our Spiritual Walk

Today’s church no longer sees the miracles of previous generations. Paul’s day saw blind eyes opened and the dead raised to life. Even previous generations of America have seen miracles, such as limbs growing back, the dead being raised, and the blind seeing. Why does it seem like our churches today no longer have the ability to see these things? What has changed? Join Reverend Kenny Yates as he opens our eyes to the spiritual doors that have been opened in the modern-day churches in our societies today, in his message, Our Spiritual Walk.

The Church Today

Our Spiritual Walk

1 So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though He was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.

Philippians 2:1-8

14 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? 15 What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever? 16 What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; as God said, “I will make my dwelling among them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Therefore go out from their midst, and be separate from them, says the Lord, and touch no unclean thing; then I will welcome you, 18 and I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord Almighty.”

2 Corinthians 6:14-18

God Worketh Everything To The Good

There is no one on this earth who has never experienced hardships before. We’ve all experienced pain and suffering, often left wondering “Why?” in the end. We’re told everything happens for a reason, as a way to comfort our hearts, but is that true? What does the Bible tell us? How Does God Work? Join Reverend Kenny Yates as he encourages our hearts with the faithful love of God in his message, God Worketh Everything To The Good.

How Does God Work?

God Worketh Everything To The Good

26 Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. 27 And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. 28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

Romans 8:26-28

44 But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.

Matthew 5:44-45

Spiritual Blindness

The LORD told Isaiah that He would cause the people of Israel to hear but not understand, to see but not perceive. If God is good, why would He cause them to not be able to understand in their hearts so that they would not be healed? Why would God cause His own people to not understand Him or His ways if He is a good and just God? How Will You Spend Eternity?

And he said, “Go, and say to this people: ‘Keep on hearing, but do not understand; keep on seeing, but do not perceive.’ 10 Make the heart of this people dull, and their ears heavy, and blind their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed.”

Isaiah 6:9-10

21 Hear this, O foolish and senseless people, who have eyes, but see not, who have ears, but hear not. 22 Do you not fear me? declares the Lord. Do you not tremble before me? I placed the sand as the boundary for the sea, a perpetual barrier that it cannot pass; though the waves toss, they cannot prevail; though they roar, they cannot pass over it.

Standing On Eternity’s Doorstep

Each day we wake up with breath in our lungs is a gift from God. How we spend each day will determine how we will spend eternity. Our actions directly dictate our future. Many believe that they’ll have the time and put off salvation, but the Scriptures tell us that tomorrow is promised to no one. An Acceptable Kind of Love

Three of the most overused words in our culture today are “I love you,” not because the words aren’t necessary, but because they no longer hold any meaning. We don’t know what love is, not true love. We don’t even know how to define love, nor can we identify it when we see it. Eternity Crashing In

Throughout the book of Ecclesiastes, there is a recurring theme, “all is vanity.” This theme, on the surface, seems very discouraging. It makes it sound as if life is pointless and that we live without meaning, but is that what King Solomon meant? Could it not have a deeper meaning? Maybe one about eternity? Are you ready for eternity? Join Reverend Kenny Yates as he opens our eyes to the true meaning of this statement in his message, Eternity Crashing In.

Eternity Crashing In

Are You Ready For Eternity?

1 The words of the Preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem.Vanity of vanities, says the Preacher, vanity of vanities! All is vanity. What does man gain by all the toil at which he toils under the sun?

Ecclesiastes 1:1-3

What gain has the worker from his toil? 10 I have seen the business that God has given to the children of man to be busy with. 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. 12 I perceived that there is nothing better for them than to be joyful and to do good as long as they live; 13 also that everyone should eat and drink and take pleasure in all his toil—this is God’s gift to man.

Ecclesiastes 3:9-13
