As Christians, when we talk about our enemy, we think about one being, Satan or the Devil. An invisible being that many Christians no longer even believe in, but instead feel as though he was more of a symbol of evil. But are these two main beliefs true? Is there only one enemy? He Promised You A Rose Garden

Others may not promise you a rose garden, but Jesus did. This is a promise of God. He promised the good and the bad so that you can grow. A rose can’t grow unless it rains every now and then. Song of Solomon 2:1-3

God didn’t promise that it would always be sunshine, but He did promise you a rose garden. He promised that when rain and muck came, He would help you to grow.

1 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Through Him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, 5 and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

Romans 5:1-5

This is a promise of God, that we might be strengthened and grow because of our struggles. Tribulation, pain, suffering, none of that will weaken us because when we are weak, then He is strong.
