Heaven’s Values, Earth’s Calling Pt. 2: Blessed Are Those Who Mourn

Jesus promises that those who mourn will be comforted. Jesus promised this to all who mourn, but what does it actually mean to mourn? Does mourning have more than one meaning in Scripture? And when we mourn, when will we be comforted? Join Reverend Kenny Yates as he opens our eyes to the Truth behind Jesus’ promises in his message, Heaven’s Values, Earth’s Calling Pt. 2: Blessed Are Those Who Mourn.

The Restoration of Israel

God’s Unbroken Promise

For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. I give Egypt as your ransom, Cush and Seba in exchange for you. Because you are precious in my eyes, and honored, and I love you, I give men in return for you, peoples in exchange for your life. Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your offspring from the east, and from the west I will gather you. I will say to the north, Give up, and to the south, Do not withhold; bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the end of the earth, everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.

Isaiah 43:3-7

35 Thus says the Lord, who gives the sun for light by day and the fixed order of the moon and the stars for light by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar—the Lord of hosts is His name: 36 “If this fixed order departs from before me, declares the Lord, then shall the offspring of Israel cease from being a nation before me forever.”
37 Thus says the Lord: “If the heavens above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth below can be explored, then I will cast off all the offspring of Israel for all that they have done, declares the Lord.”

Heaven’s Values, Earth’s Calling Pt. 1: The Doorway Into The Kingdom

In Matthew 5, Jesus gives us 8 blessings for 8 types of people or actions, better known as the Beatitudes or the Sermon on the Mount, but what do they really mean? What does it mean to be poor in spirit, meek, peacemakers, etc.? Jesus gave us 8 promises of 8 different blessings, but how do we receive those blessings? Replacement or Restoration Pt. 2: The Restoration of Israel_God’s Unbroken Promise

There’s a new belief sweeping the nation that the Jewish people in Israel aren’t the true Jews. Many use bible verses and claim this has been prophesied in Scripture, but is that true? Has the identity of the true Jews been stolen from them and given to another people? What does the Bible say about the identity of the Jews and the ownership of the land of Israel? Replacement or Restoration Pt. 1: Was Israel Replaced?

Over the years, we’ve seen a rise in anti-Jewish behavior. As time goes on, we see the church now joining in with replacement theology. So, what exactly is replacement theology? Who are the chosen people of God? And have the Jewish people been replaced by the Church? Replacement or Restoration

Was Israel Replaced?

I ask, then, has God rejected his people? By no means! For I myself am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, a member of the tribe of Benjamin. God has not rejected his people whom he foreknew. Do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he appeals to God against Israel? “Lord, they have killed your prophets, they have demolished your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life.” But what is God’s reply to him? “I have kept for myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” So too at the present time there is a remnant, chosen by grace. But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace.
What then? Israel failed to obtain what it was seeking. The elect obtained it, but the rest were hardened, as it is written,
“God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that would not see
and ears that would not hear, down to this very day.”
And David says,
“Let their table become a snare and a trap, a stumbling block and a retribution for them;
10 let their eyes be darkened so that they cannot see, and bend their backs forever.”
11 So I ask, did they stumble in order that they might fall? By no means! Rather, through their trespass salvation has come to the Gentiles, so as to make Israel jealous. 12 Now if their trespass means riches for the world, and if their failure means riches for the Gentiles, how much more will their full inclusion mean!

Romans 11:1-12

He remembers His covenant forever, the word that He commanded, for a thousand generations, the covenant that He made with Abraham, His sworn promise to Isaac, 10 which He confirmed to Jacob as a statute, to Israel as an everlasting covenant, 11 saying, “To you I will give the land of Canaan as your portion for an inheritance.”

Psalms 105:8-11

Our Founding Fathers

If you step into any public school all the way from primary to university, you’ll hear that our founding fathers were old, rich, racist bigots who indulged in slavery. You’ll hear that America was built on secularism and that God was never a part of American history, therefore, we have the separation of Church and State. Now, when we look at actual history and not the propaganda taught to us by the school system, will we truly find that our forefathers were evil godless men? Join Reverend Kenny Yates as he opens our eyes to the truth about the birth of this nation and the founding fathers in his Independence Day Message, Our Founding Fathers.

Let Us Not Grow Weary

This life isn’t easy. The world gets more and more evil with each generation. The Church itself grows weaker and weaker with each generation as well. Why? Because we grow weary. We become spiritually tired and are unable to keep going. We become unable to carry our cross. So, what are we to do? Why should we keep going? What’s the point of all of this? Join Reverend Kenny Yates as he encourages us to keep going in our walk with Christ in his message, Let Us Not Grow Weary.

The Christian Standard

Let Us Not Grow Weary

Let the one who is taught the word share all good things with the one who teaches. Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. 10 So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Galatians 6:6-10

1 Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, and of instruction about washings, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. And this we will do if God permits. For it is impossible, in the case of those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have shared in the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have fallen away, to restore them again to repentance, since they are crucifying once again the Son of God to their own harm and holding him up to contempt. For land that has drunk the rain that often falls on it, and produces a crop useful to those for whose sake it is cultivated, receives a blessing from God. But if it bears thorns and thistles, it is worthless and near to being cursed, and its end is to be burned.
Though we speak in this way, yet in your case, beloved, we feel sure of better things—things that belong to salvation. 10 For God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for his name in serving the saints, as you still do. 11 And we desire each one of you to show the same earnestness to have the full assurance of hope until the end, 12 so that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Hebrews 6:1-12

God gave the people of Israel 7 feasts to celebrate. 3 of these feasts were a mandatory pilgrimage to Jerusalem, Shavuot (the Feast of Weeks), is one of them.
