Once a year, many Christians celebrate the holiday Halloween. Many churches have Trunk or Treats as an outreach program aiming to usher in new members. Even though the Church is the Bride of Christ, so many still participate in a day that seems to be nothing but darkness. Their claim for why it’s not a big deal? Because the Devil doesn’t own any days and the Holy Spirit doesn’t take days off; therefore, allowing your child to dress up in harmless costumes and go from door to door collecting candy from friends and neighbors is nothing but a tradition passed down from generation to generation.
