The Beginning of Life

¹ And God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth. ² The fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth and upon every bird of the heavens, upon everything that creeps on the ground and all the fish of the sea. Into your hand they are delivered. ³ Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. And as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything. ⁴ But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood. ⁵ And for your lifeblood I will require a reckoning: from every beast I will require it and from man. On January 22, 1973, America legalized abortion. From that day to now, we have taken the stance that a woman has the right to choose to keep her baby or to have an abortion. The world made up its mind on January 22, 1973, that it was alright to have an abortion, but in the last ten years, the Church has begun to change its stance in favor of abortion as well. Which leads us to this video, Is Abortion a Sin?

We have celebrities, political leaders, and influential people who claim to be Christians. Yet, they not only support a woman’s right to choose, some even go as far as to spend their Birthday at Planned Parenthood, but they also try to justify their beliefs that God or Jesus would support a woman’s reproductive rights with Scripture.

If it is not really a baby, but just an embryo or a fetus, then that can’t actually be murder, can it? Does the Bible even make a stance on abortion, since it is a relatively new procedure?
