We’re saved by faith. Jesus said that we only need faith as small as a Mustard Seed to move mountains, yet there are Christians that are plagued with suicidal thoughts and depression that they just can’t seem to overcome. Others are dying of cancer and disease that, no matter how hard they pray and believe, they don’t get their healing. Miracles are seemingly becoming more and more scarce. Why? Why does it seem that no matter the amount of faith we seemingly have, prayers aren’t answered, healings aren’t taking place, and darkness seems to overcome? Jesus is the Vine, and the Father is the Vinedresser.

1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. 5 I am the vine; you are the branches. The Vinedresser (our Heavenly Father) prunes us, trims us, and makes sure we’re healthy.

6 If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned. 7 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples. 9 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Jesus is the vine and we are the branches. We can’t do anything apart from Jesus. It’s all through His strength that we produce fruit.

Halloween, A Tradition or A Door?

The Tradition of Halloween (All Hallow’s Eve or Samhain) in the Bible

The origins of Halloween are in the occult, specifically the pagan festival of Samhain. Therefore, why are Christians celebrating this pagan festival? Because if it is pagan, then it isn’t of God. If it isn’t of God, then it is evil. Therefore, why are Christians celebrating and participating in Halloween if it’s evil?

14 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? 15 What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever? 16 What agreement has the temple of God with idols?
