LORD Send Someone Else

Miracles happen. Blessings are given. People are healed. If we allow God to do so. Isn’t that a weird concept? The idea of limiting God in our own lives? Sure God can use us, He can use anyone, but we have to let Him use us. He’ll never force us to be used. If we don’t want to, He’ll find someone else. We can join the many people who have missed opportunities God has given us. Join Reverend Kenny Yates as he opens our eyes to the possible missed blessings in his message ‘LORD, Send Someone Else.’

LORD Send Someone Else: Missed Opportunities

10 Moses said to the LORD, “O Lord, I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.”

11 The LORD said to him, “Who gave man his mouth? Who makes him deaf or mute? Who gives him sight or makes him blind? Is it not I, the LORD? 12 Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.”

13 But Moses said, “O Lord, please send someone else to do it.”

14 Then the LORD’s anger burned against Moses and he said, “What about your brother, Aaron the Levite? I know he can speak well. He is already on his way to meet you, and his heart will be glad when he sees you. 15 You shall speak to him and put words in his mouth; I will help both of you speak and will teach you what to do. 16 He will speak to the people for you, and it will be as if he were your mouth and as if you were God to him.”

Exodus 4:10-16

Limiting God:

And Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor, except in his hometown and among his relatives and in his own household.” And He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His hands on a few sick people and healed them. And He marveled because of their unbelief. And He went about among the villages teaching.

Here Comes The King

There was a large crowd laying down their cloaks and palm branches before Jesus as He rode into Jerusalem on a donkey. But what was Jesus doing there? Why was there such a large crowd going to Jerusalem? What does this have to do with us today? Join Reverend Kenny Yates as he shed some light on Palm Sunday in his message Here Comes The King.

Here Comes The King

12 The next day the large crowd that had come to the feast heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem. 13 So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him, crying out, “Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord, even the King of Israel!” 14 And Jesus found a young donkey and sat on it, just as it is written,

15 “Fear not, daughter of Zion; behold, your king is coming, sitting on a donkey’s colt!”

16 His disciples did not understand these things at first, but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things had been written about Him and had been done to Him.

John 12:12-16

Our King came riding on a donkey as they laid palm branches before Him. The King has come. And the King is coming back very soon.
